Marshall Mathers LP was my first listen to Em, I was 13, from Scotland obviously we had heard hi “my name is”, but wasn’t until MMLP came out I’d really listened to hip hop, after hearing it from ems shock value point of view I thought that was what hip hop was, then from that we went to Dr Dre 2001, followed on to Tupac and biggie, nas, jay and so on, em sunk for me with a few good hits in between but I always followed him regardless as I knew he had trash beats and cringe worthy lines but his pen was impeccable, we followed artists and groups he dabbled with because his features were his best work, wasn’t until revival, kamikaze and music to be murdered by that I knew he was the goat, when I think back on his impact, (he had on our group of friends) his writing skill, his flow, cadence ability and his wordplay, you realise there’s no one like him, his catalogue proves he has it all, legend in the game, #1 and that should be fact!

Square Dance, Till I Collapse, Soldier and White America he's definitely done, and I can't remember if he's done Superman or Business or not...I'd almost want him to do a second listen reaction vid if he was to eventually do album reviews just so the complete picture of the album is achieved in his mind, instead of it being jumbled.

I fall in the camp of thinking it's overall better than MMLP, even though MMLP has all time classic highs of Stan and The Way I Am...as a full album I prefer TES. I have TES, MMLP, MTBMB and MMLP2 as the top 4 (positions change) with PROBABLY Recovery rounding out #5.
