And then Nick Cannon said he went to Detroit to fight Eminem but Eminem didn't come out (which he blatantly omitted in his conversation with Fat Joe), to which Em responded in Lord Above and finally Nick started putting out those corny ass disses towards Eminem. That's the whole story. If you're going to do the reactions, that'd be the right order

Eminem didn't mention Mariah or Nick for 10 years (and Mariah kept her ass dutifully shut right the hell up as soon as The Warning dropped. She actively refused all Eminem related questions and disallowed him being brought up after that track, lol!)......but Nick sure did mention Eminem. A LOT. (He likes doing that. You can probably tell). Last year Nick did a couple podcasts and interviews calling Em a pussy who was weak and couldn't defend himself in his own city. Nick claimed he walked the streets of Detroit looking for Em so he could beat him up, and said that Detroiters would help because they know what's up blah blah Nick's more loved blah blah etc. He was throwing shots, big time. This is what Em responded to in his Lord Above verse (both Nick and Joe are playing coy here dancing around it. Joe actually did an interview run himself saying Em's verse was dope and Nick is awful - he's talking out his ass here when he plays naïve). It wasn't random, like none of Em's disses were random. They were ALL in response to either things Mariah/Nick said in the press or put on wax. Nick then did his ridiculous race baiting diss tracks, which no one is calling out for being race baiting. The whole thing started in the early 2000s - Eminem and Mariah dated for a while (he said 6 months, and his neighbours, who met Mariah several times, corroborated that) and the media caught them. Mariah denied it HARD. She did a whole freaking MEDIA TOUR denying it. Interviews left and right, red carpets, even went on Oprah. Mariah called him ugly and disgusting, and said she would never. This insulted Eminem, who bit back in his next album with tracks like Superman. Mariah made Clown. This was the initial back and forth but then Eminem fell into drug addiction and depression following Proof's murder. When he came back from hiatus, he responded with Bagpipes from Baghdad. Mariah was still mentioning him in interviews at this point and made Obsessed (where she played him in the video). Eminem made The Warning...which was a blatant open threat to her that if she continued to talk on him he'd release evidence he had that they were together (which she denied the WHOLE time). Fast forward to 2020 and Mariah's releasing a book which she's advertising using Eminem's name and details of the relationship she spent 20 YEARS DENYING EXISTED, and her best friend recently went on The Breakfast Club and confirmed sexual details between the two as if they were some huge scandalous revelation Mariah was exposing - it's literally EXACTLY THE SAME DETAILS EMINEM MADE PUBLIC IN THE WARNING!!!!!!! (I won't spoil it for you...'cus I wanna see you react ;p). She literally just confirmed Mariah's been full lying her ass off for 20 years, and Eminem's been the truthful one this WHOLE time. Which....when you listen to The Warning...yeah, you'll definitely understand why that was always obvious, lol.
