Spinel and our pearl were made to make pink happy, Spinel to replace the best friend aspect of her OG pearl, and our pearl to replace the servant aspect of her.

2022-09-11 23:54:17 +0000 UTCRegarding your question about Pink/Rose, I wouldn’t say she’s a bad person: the only reason why many people think of her as the villain is that we’ve seen her character development backwards. She started off as one of the diamonds, spoiled and abused by the others: at the time she didn’t understand and value life, but once she got her colony, she fell in love with the Earth and learnt how the empire was affecting other gems. She chose to be her best self (Rose), becoming the first one to do actually something about the Gem Empire, and she had to learn to grow into that along the way, mistake after mistake, until she finally turned into the beautiful person that Steven got to know at the beginning of the show. In the end she finally decided to give up her form, as an act of selfless love, knowing that Steven would have been much better than she could have ever possibly been. The Pink that left Spinel in the Garden ins’t the same as the Pink we got to know through the Crystal Gems.

2022-09-11 21:38:34 +0000 UTCi think based on what you’ve been liking with the show so far that you’ll actually really like future! ik you said you saw someone say it’s its own separate little thing and that’s not quite true, it basically just ties up a lot of loose ends and addresses all the stuff steven went through in a realistic way. it’s a bit heavier compared to the original show but it’s still very good and i like it a lot! :-)
