It’s very unfortunate… the creator (Owen Dennis) even showed images from the S5 movie on his Twitter shortly after they got cancelled.

2023-01-25 07:36:38 +0000 UTCJust as a heads up, this season is not as intense as S3. This was meant to be a “light-hearted buffer” in-between S3 and S5. The crew had already scripted the entirety of S5 and were in the process of getting it story-boarded when HBO cancelled the show. So if this season seems a lot more lowkey it’s intentional! They were giving watchers a break before a very intense S5 movie that exists but will never see the light of day :-(
