2021-01-21 23:17:02 +0000 UTCSslp and mmlp, but definitely don't waste the money if you interested in the sslp.. he half way listen to it, basically calls it shock value garbage the whole time, videos are literally 8 minute average. Though I appreciate his raw feelings on it, it's like he just wanted to discard anything from the go.. and act like it was just marketing, gimmicky album but not understand the mindstate Em was really in back then... But nonetheless I like witnessing his journey through Eminem albums, so the 25$ is still panning out fair enough.

I was 10 when MMLP came out, I got my ma to buy it for me and it went from there man I just explored every single Eminem and D12 song there was and finding new artists constantly adding them to my catalogue, I'm now almost 30, own and have heard every single Eminem and D12 record there is and have the greatest admiration for lyricists which led me to find artists like Hopsin, Joyner, Tech etc.. The combination of luck that brought Dre and Marshall together was one of the greatest gifts the music industry could have ever received, they made hip hop a global household name, more people know the name Eminem than almost any other name ever and in return the following hip hop gained from that was enormous, here was this white guy showing everyone around the world, hip hop, freakishly godlike skills with his penmanship and shining light on things that needed to be shown. What a damn gift to have grown up in this era of Em man. Love your work Stevie, I know how you feel about Bizarre and I 100% get it but you really need to check out some more D12 man, there's some killer material in it from all parties, Devils Night is my favourite album from them and they also have D12 world which is great aswell, hopefully something you might dig into in the future. SSLP and MMLP was mostly within Hip Hop but this album went mainstream quick and drew in people like me. Middle class white folks who once like Rock..... This album converted many of us as Em showed he had way more to offer beside Shock Rap. Each track pulled me in more with his intelligence, lyrically ability, personal stories and struggles and how he turned around that hate from MMLP backlash and directed his anger at his critics was incredible and the beginning of Em never letting the hate bring him down. To this day he fights the same fight but only stands tall among it all!
