LATE POST HAD TO GET IT OUT THO

Is the Em vs Snoop beef a race thing. Crook had some dope insight

LATE POST HAD TO GET IT OUT THO

Comments

I agree. I'm not really sure how this all went down. But I know for a fact that he was previewing this song on Instagram and YouTube back in october. But like I was saying I find it really strange that it was ready back then but he waited until all this s*** happened to actually release it. The clip that everybody is talking about. The Instagram live video everybody is talking about from Sunday, tho was just him reciting a line from that track that he released a few days before

Chris Benoit

I'm gonna check it out. This is some crazy shit! I was stuck on Netflix reruns. I got bored and wanted to see the end of 8 mile where the proud reacts. Types "8 mile crowd reaction" and wound up on these reaction videos. Stevie was the most informative and broke it all down. I got hooked and joined the Patreon. Well worth it.

John Saunders

there's a video that just came out which royce, nore... talking about the situation and apparently snoop been holding grudges because after his feature on the mmlp, em or his label refused to do one for snoop album

Lilo

But hey, its just music and beefs do seem to make things more interesting. Sort of like a reality show. So maybe I should sit back and enjoy the show.

John Saunders

m sure we all remember the impact of music when we were kids (when I was a kid anyway). I would like to think that all genres have crossed those barriers that defined social groups. They seemed to die out more and and more as I grew older. I'm 38 now, so I am definitely out of touch with the current impact that music has on the younger generation. What I have seen, however, is a mutual respect that is no longer defined by music. I am a musician, and have respect for all forms and their contributions to our culture. Hip Hop is no longer the young force coming up in the musical culture. It is an entire genre of pop culture. I would like to think that racial division is no longer music related. That would cause serious damage to a source of communication that has had the most impact on our culture. If a personal argument between musical artists can result in a domino effect on the currently fragile political climate, we have much larger problems to worry about

John Saunders

I think Snoop has also sneak dissed Em on his IG 🙄

Anne-Marie Thawes

Oh. i didn't know that. just saw the scriptwork reaction to it and i thought it was new. But yeah why would snoop diss em before side b dropped? I don't think that em was like hey snoop im a bout to diss you on my surprise album im dropping in 2 months 🤔

Othman Badawi

Just so your aware. Snoop previewed this song mid October. Think 10/15. Soo it was ready before side B dropped. But I wonder if somehow he knew a out the song before it dropped? I may be looking for shit that isn't there. But Snoop saying the line about "miscalculating" made me think he was referring to the line in book of rhymes. Because the beginning of that song is subliminally towards Snoop. And he says your opinions like a broken calculator that shit doesn't count

Chris Benoit

Snoop is mad cause Em took his spot starting in 1997. Race probably plays a role but I think jealousy plays a bigger 1. Em blew up the Dre and snoop relationship in his mind. Now Em sits in his castle dropping shit from his studio and snoops doing infomercials with Martha.

Chris

The race card always gets played when Em is involved. It's the most powerful weapon against him in the HipHop ring. Benzino, Nick Cannon, Lod Jamar, Charlemagne and yes Snoop have all used the card. Snoop always says the word white rapper when talking Em. Em has never been just a rapper to Snoop. It will always been race cuz it's a white boy in black mans game. Snoop already put out a track with some jabs for Em so I think it's on.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoOKIaQ8GSM

Toni-Ann

Where does Dre fit in is absolutely a bar that's what I've thinking this whole over this bullshit Crook a real one for this

ZACHARY HORVATH

I honestly don’t want to see any beef between them! It would be dope if they came out with a joint album!!! Jeeeezzzzz! I want to see another Bitch Please lll haha. Stevie, can you do more Lil Wayne and Ice Cube reactions!! :D 🔥have you done a reaction to Bitch Please ll??

MajinYogiBear

https://youtu.be/Izlcq-MZD9A ch interview. Needs to be reacted to

Dustin Wilson

& at one point didn’t Snoop also say artist are scared to be on a track with Em? He’s trolling big time, with the crap he’s been saying lately.

Anne-Marie Thawes

I dont think this will go anywhere btw them. Em won't release a diss on snoop unless snoop releases one that's really hard! And snoop also said multiple times in interview how much he love and respect eminem between the first interview where he was mad and the recent one... so idk maybe snoop is just bipolar haha or he was just fake but this seems weird, like he even posted a few times a picture with him, em, other rappers saying the kings of rap and shit on his Ig 🤷🏽‍♀️

Lilo

Stevie looooves the drama haha then you won't be disappointed, there s a new one with Em every month it seems 😂

Lilo

He’s 💯 spot on

Bill Saunders

Who are these “blacks” Sachin?? who are you referring to exactly? You sound a little racist from where I’m standing. Snoop Dog doesn’t speak for every black person on the planet. There are plenty of black artists who have spoken in support of Em and what he’s contributing to hip hop snd to lump an entire group and say its all their fault is just plain ignorant. Can’t believe people continue to display this type of ignorant behaviour in this day and age - just shaking my head.

Anne-Marie Thawes

Media is always the real enemy. Instigating conflict for views and money. I honestly don't know how or why we put up with it so much.

Dustin Sisler

Basically, I don't think the fans of hip-hop or either person are going to be the ones making it a race war, it's going to be the media and people that don't even have a horse in the race or care about rap, they just know both people for their status in the world.

Dustin Sisler

Not even just the fans, but what Crook said that really made me rethink the whole thing was when he said that both of them are pop culture legends as well completely outside of hip-hop. They are really media heavy artists and the media will be all over that and exploiting it to the fullest which will pull in people from all over the world about an issue they don't even fully understand and it will become way bigger than just hip-hop. It's just going to be another bomb dropped in the racial issues of today and honestly that's the last thing we all need right now is more tension between us all. Music is something that should be bringing us together, but once the media gets ahold of it and it goes beyond music, it's going to be a mess.. I didn't think about all of that until Crook said that and he's absolutely right.

Dustin Sisler

I'm with Stevie on this as well. My favorite rapper personally is Yelawolf. I think he's criminally underrated and has a flow completely his own and unmatched by very many others. I respect Em. I know he's the best out there ability wise and will defend him when people are talking crazy, but I wouldn't call myself a stan by any means. I wouldn't call Stevie one either. Just the fact that he says he isn't one already means he's not lol. The stans are the delusional "Em can do no wrong and I will come at you if you even think otherwise" type of fans. Stevie isn't that, he gets on Em a lot with his beats especially, and doesn't even really like the SSLP (which I can understand, I was never a fan either), but I digress on that.

Dustin Sisler

Isnoop just dissed em on ig live .. shit about to go down

Othman Badawi

I don't even feel like the delusional stans are racist though because they fuck with everyone Em fucks with..as long as Em get his credit as he rightfully deserves, then its all love. The racist shit starts with the blacks not wanting to accept the fact that this white boy is better than most of the black rappers and has such a big influence on something they created. Like just the fuck up already and give this man his Props.

Sachin

It seems that people who are doing interviews are to blame because the artist they are interviewing want to talk about themselves and their music but the interviewer keep bringing em up and the artists probably tired of hearing that name when the interview should be about them. I am an Eminem fan but like other artist also and want to hear what is going on with them , we need better interviewers that bring more positive out than the negative.

J.W.1977

Agreed, I think it would disappoint Em - makes me sound so Stanny lol - but I think it would, for it to be such a racial thing. It started over disrespect and now it seems jealousy. That's why that's what Em has addressed. Unfortunately it would be too easy for his haters to use and try to flip the race thing.

Memo

Stevie Knight. Just so ya know that song was from October. Mid October. But yeah it's deff still a diss. No doubt

Chris Benoit

I was thinking the same thing. Eminem said that same shit. I killed superman I killed super. man. Etc. ** Also... Not sure if somehow, Snoop heard Zeus a couple months before I dropped... Or someone leaked it to him... I feel like Eminem deff let Dre know (call us liquid plumber. CuZ even draino) before he dissed Snoop. But anyways I just went on a big Rant about this song. But just so everyone is aware.. this song was recorded in October. October 10th to be exact. But the fact that he mentions the miscalculate line (replying to em on book of rhymes) and a few other things. Idk.... Just weird he'd almost like.... Have this ready. And then release it now. Right after everything going on. Also..... Towards the end of the song.... I hope he's not taking a shot at Krook. He mentions something about try saying you a King and something about your crew etc. Idk. I've written so many comments in the last 30 mins. I'm tired

Chris Benoit

You telling me you not bumping B side at the gym? Lmao

Jon Farley

I feel what you’re saying and I agree that, if it goes racial, it won’t be snoop and Em doing it but it will be the fans... but I’ll also say this: any true Stan know damn well better than to go racial on anybody. We will stick with Em and stand against anyone throwing the racist moniker his way, but we (if it’s a true Eminem Stan) will not go there. If you’re a true Eminem fan then you have the utmost respect and admiration for all cultures, especially the black culture that birthed and nurtured this music that we all love so much. So if you come across anyone who calls themself a Stan but proceeds to lob any racist attack at anyone, that fool is faux, for real. Love the vids man. Keep on grinding.

.

Jarrad

Snoop let some rounds fire off on IG live.......he said something like, you call yourself superman I'll be your "kryptonite" that's why I got your girl, she wanna fuck a "crip tonight"...he made a whole verse for EM

Jarrad

Idk.. I see a huge divide between them in terms of the positive impact they’ve had on the people they have influenced.

Justin Speer

It even helps with the notifications though, youtube acts weird af even with notifications turned on lol

Julian Powers

Glad ur enjoying man, I actually posted this one on YT as well just wanted to make sure you all saw it. Gonna react to Snoops diss tomorrow

Gregory Knight

Nah def not, he's not my fav rapper but he means alot in the hip hop, and I have the best time reacting to his material. Ill always defend something right vs something that's wrong as well and I dnt support that clown shit Snoop said

Gregory Knight

Stevie can you admit to us on a video that you're a stan now

Jon Farley

Him saying he would be kryptonite to to superman is stealing Em’s line... he has said that often in different ways ..especially on Rain Man “I killed superman... I’ll be the bad guy kryptonite the green chronic”

Brett Hickey

Isn’t Snoop too busy selling doorbell cameras to beef with Em?

Dean Carroll

He also says the guy who closes curtains gonna get a closed casket or gonna close caskets. He also said something about adding numbers and says not to miscalculate it. Or it's not a miscalculation. I think 100% it's to Eminem. With everything going on. Come on.... No fuckin way it's not an Em diss

Chris Benoit

snoop did on IG

Abdulrahman

Scriptwork just posted a video that looks like a diss song from Snoop on his IG live 😳 he mentioned kamikaze and he would be kryptonite to Superman.

Mrs. Smith

The patreon is totally worth it, im watching all these videos early lmao
