It’s because of him that I spent money to buy their shit, and talked them up to other people. So they can miss me with that mess about Em not contributing to the culture, or about him taking up someone else’s space. He is my god damned idol, the inspiration he emits is unobtainable and there is no one else in the game who motivates you to be the best version of you in this game than EM. I live, breath, eat, shit and would die for hip hop at this point in my life, my favourite rappers wouldn’t be Wu Tang Clan, Redman, Special Ed, Busta Rhymes, Em fucking ETC. Marshal is the only person who I have ever felt close enough to relate to...ever. That mans music has saved my literal life 20+ times. We was travelling across outback Australia and my dad would play this one tape over and over again and it was good old Alan Jackson. Me and my mum was so sick and tired of hearing country music for 6 hours straight on replay since it was the only tape we had. So we pull into this little town to fuel up and my mum gives me $20 to go and buy another tape in the shop. I walk in and see 2 tapes for the price of one on the sign so I pick out Eminem’s Curtain Call and Nellys Sweat album. So I get back in the car and ask my dad to play the tape I just bought of Eminem. So the intro plays through and the very first song to play is Fack... now. If you know this song already then you know how outrageous this shit is. And at this time I’m only 9 back in 2005. As the song is playing, my dad who’s a die hard country dude actually busted out laughing along with my mum and I and we all literally listened through the whole album and loved it. Ever since then I’ve loved Eminem from how twisted and insane his songs were. To see him progress and master this rap shit is amazing. The important thing is that he's ok. He was taken to hospital and treated immediately. Hopefully he won't have any lasting damage from the cerebral haemorrhage, but in most cases, with a speedy response patients make full recoveries. I'm sure the media will seek to heavily dramatise everything to milk his situation for $$$, because that's what they do, but focus on the important stuff - he's received treatment and is currently doing well in recovery. That's what matters. I'm sure he will have regular CT scans as follow up protocol to detect any further aneurysms that might develop and clip them before they become an issue.

Even tho I listen to other - non white - rappers (Royce, Kendrick, J Cole, Joyner, etc.), all some people are gonna see is a white person who listens to Em and that can give ppl a bad impression. Ironically, one of the things I love about Em is that he speaks on things other famous white musicians usually dont, like BLM, and I agree with him on it, so it feels like he kinda represents the white ppl who stand with BLM, and other things. Em gives back to Detroit too, btw. Most ppl dont know that he has a whole fucking foundation that gives back, Royce is actually in a high up position at that foundation (I not remember his title). Em just doesn't advertise the charity/donations/outreach he does cuz it's not about the credit for him. Imo, that makes it even better.
