2021-01-10 03:58:07 +0000 UTCThe thing with D12 is (besides bizarre) this is really young Em and crew and there weren't really any doubles or triples or anything like that it was just pure gangsta rap with no real bar breakdown and they were all young, drugged up and angry, so when you listen to D12 you need to take into consideration yeah Em was huge but he wasn't the man we know today and you gotta take it at face value, I totally get how you feel about bizarre but putting him aside D12 as a whole for what it was back then was a fkn dope mix of young dudes just wildin out on every track. Give D12 - American Psycho, a turn next and you'll get more of a feel of what they were about or check out "Revelation" or "Devils Night" those 3 tracks on top of this really encompass what D12 brought to the table and man I remember listening to this as a 12 year old thinking I was hard as fuck, this stuff was crazy nasty for back then and it still holds its weight to this day. For face value no bar heavy G Rap, it's dope man I really hope you can get those songs in aswell, another good one is "pistol pistol"

Now, years later, I realize how bad he made the rest of them look, and how he was so many light years ahead of any of them. Listen to Stepping Stone when you get a chance. But I get it him helping his friends out, what a great thing he did for all of them. If Eminem wasn't part of this they wouldn't have had any real success in my opinion.

(Sp) he tried to help the guys who tried to help bring him into a predominantly black sport. But Em never left them. They still ride for him like he would ride for them. But he has so much guilt that they didn’t blow. But he was just a better rapper. And they know it. They knew he was special. They say it. And I hate saying this, because I feel like I should put my Stan cap on and sound like a dumb white person, not trying to bring race in to this, but he was just so much better. But Em will always say that Proof drove him. Not wanting to lose his spot in D12 inspired him.

Bionic Jive went on tour with them one time and they let them remix Fight Music and Eminem's Soldier. Instrumentals only with the real original vocal tracks.
