2021-01-09 05:47:45 +0000 UTCI think Snoop is allowed his own opinion on the top 10. They look like they are all the artists that inspired him. Sounded like he just wasn't a fan of post 90s hip hop. His rant did show that his ego has taken a pretty big hit. His influence as a musician has faded a lot over the years. But that's due to him overcommercializing his brand. If he had kept his focus on music, he would have more influence and respect in the industry. Instead, he ended up losing control and exposing some prejudice towards whites. It was clearly caused by a hidden animosity toward white rapper who is being hailed as the GOAT. I didn't find it to be a clear disdain toward white rappers, or whites in general, but rather a damaged ego that has left him angry, jealous, and confused. I'm sure he looked at the interview afterward and was shaking his head. If you have such a huge influence on pop culture, make sure you have your emotions under control before you start spouting off your bullshit on social media.

They are SCARED that it would prove that Em was BETTER at rapping than Snoop is. They are SCARED that it would turn a large portion of the "black community" open their eyes and see just how LITTLE the "because he is white" argument doesn't hold up when Em raps circles around Snoop. They are SCARED that Snoop's own history of doing projects "outside of rap" opens him up to way too many "easy shots" to take. I mean, just how many verses can Em put together of Snoop being "gangster" but hanging out with Martha Stewart, or doing TV shows, or trying to do "ringside commentary"? Hell, just how much of Snoop's OWN HISTORY makes him look like a fool when you take into account the fact that Snoop can NOT use Em's connection to Dre as ammo because Em can easily pull the same Snoop/Dre connections all the way back to Death Row Records. I mean, forget all the "behind the scenes" crap. Just going off PUBLIC RECORD, Em could go after Snoop for YEARS!

I feel like the situation with Dre has calmed this down. Since then Snoop has posted a few things that were pretty positive towards Em. Can’t we all just get along! 😉

He’s on that level so who fucking cares what color or how old he is My first time listening to him, I didn’t know he was white. I was listening to Too Short,NWA, Special ED, LL, The Wiz, so that tells you how long I’ve been listening to this shit. One of very few white kids at the NWA concert in Ohio. Now rap crowds are so much more diverse.
