I don't think it's a diss towards Snoop at all especially because of the topic of this song when Dre says that line I think he means that he shouldn't never got married in the first place.

I think it is about snoop because he has not been on Dre side for a while now and he could be salty about what ,he said about the only person he needs Is EM

Honestly music is music. Yes, black people started the genres of Rock, Country (bluegrass), and even Pop, but MUSIC (ALL MUSIC) CAME FROM STORYTELLING. If somebody have a story let them tell it, point, blank, period. I bet they wouldn't tell Darius Rucker he can't sing Country, they'll celebrate it. FUCK THE DOUBLE STANDARD. That's coming from a black man

I swear I am getting off the internet soon

My interpretation of that line, Dre was telling his ex, she shouldn't have let this dog out of his kennel, referring to him as the dog and the marriage was his kennel. Note the next line, he says he's the king of daubachery.

I heard the same way when I heard first time. The dog pound was a clear shot in my opinion.

I think Eminem took a lot of subliminal shots at snoop on side b, but not this one, And y'all who claim to be dogs aren't
No bite, like a tree, mostly just all bark, arf, arf
But y'all pickin' the wrong tree, they call me dog because I'm barking (Bar king, bark, bark, barking and gnat But not similar to Mike Vick at all
'Cause even if I don't have a dog in the fight
They ain't never gonna get rid of the fight in the dog (Fight in the dog), Eminem is using a lot of dog references this whole Album for a reason

Once I heard Em say in his interview that he traded tracks with Dre to get this one I perceived that to mean Dre had already done his verse with intent to put it on his own album before Em got it and I don’t think Dre has any reason to take a shot at Snoop yet so to me that’s a stretch 🤷🏽♂️

We all no it’s about his wife but to say this 100 ain’t a subliminal to snoop when we’ve all seen how complex these lot can be with there lyrics is just dumb
Could just be coincidence but it’s definitely worth a debate

BS, this is a song about their recent ex's.

I believe it's about his wife but. People turn it into other this to match their agenda hence this video they made 50 Cents comments to fit this situation as well now they most definitely fit the current situation but he made those comments a few years ago

Nah i don’t think Dre would get into that.

Seems like a reach. But EM does ALOT of double/triple/quadruple that seem like reaching when in reality he's just nasty. So its not far fetched that this has merit. People keep diss records in the cut incase something pops off. Just bc EM never knew there was a problem, doesn't mean Dre didn't.

Could be a double. Subliminal.

Until Eminems interview where he explains that he traded songs to Dre to get this one for his album, I also thought it was a sub at Snoop. But, for me at least, that theory was only believable if Em (co)wrote Dres verse. It was too subtle/complex for Dre to do on his own, imo. Now we know that Em first heard the song with Dres verse already on it.

Dre could been keeping it respectful towards his ex by saying "Shoulda never let this dog (B!tch?) out of that kennel" since their divorce isn't final yet?... sure seems this song is a Diss toward her since all the BS she dragging him through.

I knew something would be said about the "kennel" line , but he's referring to himself as the fog that SHE shouldn't have made free from the kennel. Been through a divorce myself and that is a pretty good analogy 😁

Nah I don’t think so. Em chose this verse/song way when it was already made way before the Snoop beef started.

I don't think so, but Eminem's first line on Book of rhymes was towards snoop for sure
