I'd suggest Craig of the Creek! I've been watching it slowly the last couple months and I think you'd enjoy it, especially if you were a fan of things like KND. It's got a great sense of humor that plays well with cartoon logic while keeping to a (seemingly) mundane and grounded setting. It think the way it introduces its 'lore' and develops those plotlines would appeal to you, since you like shows developing plot and stuff like that! Also just TONS of really fun and interesting characters!! It's currently 4 seasons, which I've been watching on Hulu but I think it's also on Max too. The 5th and final season is supposed to air in a couple months, I think, so it's nice to know it's got a manageable number of seasons and will be wrapping up decisively!
