Unfolds like the greatest of horror films. If you don’t fight it, and just go with it, it will truly blow your mind. Or maybe I’m just a weirdo who likes the horrorcore genre 😂 but everything I wrote above is truly how I feel about Relapse. That album is very near and dear to me 💯.

The flow is crazy and hard to catch what he says which is why Em likely included a lyric book with that CD. Plus he was relearning to rap here so rhyming, bending words and flow is all Relapse.

2021-02-10 18:16:44 +0000 UTCThe lyrics in that video seem pretty off, this is 100% just a song to demonstrate rhyme schemes and cadence without worrying about the content too much (that accounts for a lot of Relapse on a whole where wordplay wasn't anywhere near as much of a focus). The serial killer scheme was crazy though, still one of my favourite parts of any song, it just sounds so good to listen to. It wasn't until after Relapse and before Recovery that he decided to focus more on wordplay after listening to more recent rap to see what people were doing. The fun thing about Relapse though is you can see how much fun he seemed to just be having rapping.
