2023-08-30 12:27:02 +0000 UTCHeeey, we begin year two! Yeah, I still love how Twilight spent one year (and maybe some change) before she got promoted to immortal. From this point on, the seasons will be a little more consistent with some specific episodes taking place right after the other. During this season you'll notice the animation smooth out, the intro get new additions, and Twilight start to physically grow now that her body has changed. I think we'll only see that last part after this season. The stakes are rising, the field is changing, and the world will soon grow. A little bonus fact, Twilight's wings are the lofty variant. She's not great at fast flight in most cases for that reason. Her wings are bigger, but it's not because she's an Alicorn. There are just different wing designs, and Wonderbolts all use variations on Dash's wings, which are built for speed. If you wanna see the Luna/Celestia fight reanimated, go watch Lullaby for A Princess. It tells the story of that night and shows us how things went for the princesses, and what led to it all.

2023-08-29 14:16:38 +0000 UTCAs someone mentioned in the chat, this takes place a year after the season 1 premiere, which is why I said in some of your previous reactions that seasons 1-3 take place over the course of a single year, and don't always take place in the order of when they were released. From here on out though, the seasons pretty much take place in order. The episodes aren't necessarily in order within the seasons, but (with the exception of one season 7 episode that logically must take place in season 5 or 6) the seasons don't overlap with each other like 1-3 do. Also, did you notice Discord in the window of Fluttershy's cottage in the intro?

2023-08-29 04:03:38 +0000 UTCJust to give some context about Luna and Celestia which is not a spoiler. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were both natural born alicorns, but both Cadence and Twilight were made into alicorns by Princess Celestia. Celestia and Luna are both thousands of years old

The storytelling from each season on ward is gonna do stuff that rewards anyone who sees the hints, just like at the beginning of season 3 with Celestia and Luna having a small conversation about what would happen to Twilight at the end. Except, way more often.
