I live in Detroit, I met Proof back at The State Theater, He was there seemed like every Saturday night partying with the City. We had a brief convo after I greeted him. I asked him why was he still hanging out in the city, He said because it's home and I love it here and told me where the after party was going to be and we went. I don't know what he was going through when he did this song but I know He loved being home in Detroit.

Proof ft 50 cent - forgive me

KRS 1946

do people not realize there is an edit button for comments?

Mr. Peabody

Looks like you gotta do how come dawg

Steve Green

P.P.S. Proof's dad was involved in music, and was a producer/engineer on the original track that was used in the sample for this song. If I remember correctly, Proof didn't even realize that when they sampled it.

P.S. When you do "Difficult" again, instead look up "Dudey (Ft. Obie Trice)" It's the same song, but it has a chorus by Obie. Also, when you did "Difficult" the first time, the video you listened to had Eminem's vocals pitched up, so he sounded chip-munky. Here's a good one: https://youtu.be/kzHuFh0mvnc

d12 good die young.. about bugz.. no eminem on it tho... this proof album is a classic.. so many hits. ye forgive me ft 50 cent.. is another good song.

I remember shortly after this CD came out, I was just a freshman in High School, and I went to my local Hastings, thinking it was a long shot to find this record. It kinda was. I live in the middle of Montana and our Hip-Hop scene isn't that vibrant. There was no card in the Hip-Hop section with Proof on it. I just randomly flipped through CDs and found it tucked behind some random other albums. It was like a needle in a haystack. So glad to have copped it, and it's still in my collection today. This whole record is great! And the bonus DVD it came with, I used to watch religiously.

Cody Gudmundsen

He had more context to his thoughts on a track with 50 on the hook, "Forgive me" it's deep but fifth brings the vibe on the hook

I'm not clear on the relationship between Proof and his Mom but she said some weird sh*t in some interviews after Proof died. It sounded like she don't even like Em... it sounded like Proof and his Mom were far a part like Em and his Mom. There is a lot of sadness in this track....

Toni-Ann

Definitely gotta check out Forgive me 🤙

Ugs Lench

I strongly suggest you react to “Going through changes” by Eminem. He talks about his overdose and proof’s death

Mohammed

I wish i can have a straight 5 minute convo to Stevie about Eminem’s life and i have a perfect idea for a Stevie to do about Em U see this Stevie knight hit me up on IG or dm me here man thank you.

Anthony Carbonaro

Sorry but that’s incorrect. Even tho I understand where you’re coming from, you’re trying to say he was a good guy which is true but just because you’re street doesn’t mean you’re bad. But proof was 100% a street dude. He was deep in the streets. Streets legend before Em blew up. Proof was respected in the streets of Detroit, that’s how he gave Em a pass in the hood. “You ran the streets, I 9 to 5’d it”

Diverse Project

I’ve been asking for How Come as well, especially the video.

Lisa

My fav D12 song!

Toni-Ann

Yes can you do how come please

Jake begley

proof - forgive me ft 50 cent 50 kills on the hook check it out stevie.

Dylan Harcourt

Thats not true at all

Jason King

Really should react to Obie talking about proofs death on Vlad . And I think 40 oz is the most shocking one even though it's just one line he says exactly how he died...

Megan Klobchar

Do how come.. it might be the only d12 you rock with

Jordan Jansen

First time hearing this.

Joseph Astle

Proof wasn’t a streets guy he was just the rap guy

Jordan Jansen

I know you're not a D12 fan, me neither really, but you should really check out the song How Come. It's only Em, Proof, and Denaun and it's about the personal struggles the fame brought them - in and out of the group. It's a really good song and it's some real shit not just crazy to be crazy shit.

Hell yeah man super stoked you did this request! I really hope you dive more into this album especially with “Forgive me” featuring 50. Proof is not reacted to enough lol he’s dope for sure

Keegan Williams
