But I always knew that words are separate from actions, Em says some crazy shit in his songs, but does he ever actually do it? He also plays/raps as a character sometimes, I saw people having an issue with the Love the Way You Lie lyric "tie her to the bed and set this house on fire" nobody seems to understand that song is about an abusive relationship and what an abusive partner might feel/do. Em never actually burned anyone alive, did he? Imma watch this later, sorry Stevie, I just hate being lumped in with people like this 🙄 (not by you of course).

Maybe the fact that so many millennial parents let YouTube raise their children the way they were raised by Saturday morning cartoons? Or is it the fact that the internet is mainstream and a huge source of profit now, and these kids raised on it have been given a platform to move things differently? I remember realizing at one point when I was a teen that kids were just copying the older generations - trying to be more adult, dress more provocative, etc - but it really feels like now they’re the ones driving trends and that power has gone to their head. It’s like electing someone who doesn’t know politics to the world’s leading political role. 🙃
