When he said he didn’t want to drop an album and wanted to drop every track individually so we could appreciate every track and not just one or 2 and not listen to the rest. You said he was onto something but that’s literally what ADHD was by Joyner. He said it was a social experiment and dropped his tracks in increments so we could appreciate it and it backfired. He caught a lot of shit for doing it that way

Depression is fucking hard poor or rich it don’t matter. I don’t have money and been through the ringer with Covid and changing careers after 25 years so depression doesn’t give a fuck if you’re rich, black, white, old, young, hard or soft. It will eat you alive if you don’t come to peace with who you are, where you want to be and however long it takes to get there. Life will chew you up and spit you out if you don’t come to peace with yourself. Love your friends and family and do what you can for others. But take care of you first because if not, you can’t help anyone else. Stevie, smacked this one out the park 500 hundred mark. You’re gonna be great at interviews when your time comes as a superstar. Awesome shit can’t wait to see more. This made me have a good day. Thank you both.

I know Stevie had to love getting that up front view to the video making process...cause I know I appreciated seeing what was there. In terms of reactions...I’m with Hopsin...he don’t need to react to any current rappers for sure. Maybe y’all could do some really old stuff (I think of The Message by Grandmaster Flash et al, but I’m sure you’ve both heard that already. No, what might be easier is to go out of genre. Play some Aerosmith or Classical music. Maybe it’s even something Hops likes, like a random musical (y’all could laugh at the “rapping” in The Music Man’s songs like “ya got trouble”. Whatever, it’s awesome to see you all. And yes Hopsin, I’m on old man who was turned on to Stevie through his Em reviews and would have never heard your music otherwise — love your stuff though and seek it out now! PS: Somewhat of an aside, but I have lots of respect for how both of you talk about race and racism. This world is so messed up at times — glad to hear that it’s different in Thailand and elsewhere :-)
