Mostly because nobody out there is taking shots at their own mother as much as Em was OR using the words most people want to be removed from the English language. Not just because of their meaning but simply due to how they sound. I mean, let's get real. How many people want to ban the "r-word' and as an average person you can't understand if they want to ban the word "retard" or "rape" without having to put up with some kind of nonsense about being either "offensive" or "algorithm censorship" taking place.
