But it makes sense because this is when the fame overtook him and that addiction made this album to where pills talked more than Marshall

I heard bezerk and thought what is this dude rock now sober em sucks lol. But I was just listening to other shit. Wasn’t until kamikaze where is was like ok Eminem is back. Then went back and listened to mmlp2 and couldn’t stop listening. The slim shady lp was incredible to me at 14. I thought he wrote it for me that’s how much the songs related to my life at that time. So to go from that and here encore it was weird but when that came out I was out high school and I played his old stuff if I wanted to hear some em. And now I am back into em and I don’t like any new stuff at all lol even some rapper I liked back then I can’t listen too. Eminem is just so good I have snobby ears I guess. He’s like a Grey Goose and the rest are bankers club. It has def been a wild 22 years with him. We and the millions and millions people just like us really got to witness the career of what I believe the most talented rapper, musician, writer that ever lived. Better and bigger then Michael or prince, Rolling Stones, all that. And don’t want to take anything away because they are great but Eminem is different

I had the impression he sold out after the movie n I was too grown up for him cuz of the corny songs I was hearing. I dunno where the hell I was when relapse came out. I just remember hearing not afraid n was like oh, Em still making music, not bad but seems like he is that pop/rap shit. Good for him to get over whatever it was n mature. Started to hear singles blow up n was happy for him. He was a huge part of my childhood. Wasn’t until a few years ago when I started to appreciate all genres again n been going thru this Em journey the way Stevie is now to see how much I missed and became a even bigger fan now. Mtbmb side a n b are the first Eminem albums to come out since I been back appreciating his legacy. I hate encore for making me doubt this guy. But im here now and have a better ear n love for hip hop as well as other genres

2021-04-05 21:27:15 +0000 UTCI was 15 when slim shady lp came out. The next year when mmlp came out he was by far the best rapper in the game and I was a Stan. Eminem show was amazing and solidified him. when this came out we said wtf is this and that was the end lol. It was wild back then because he went from the best rapper in the game to this. I absolutely hate this album. There’s a few good songs and some of his top classic songs on here. But the other ones like this one and puke and all the other ones suck. Then he disappeared for 5 years and hit us with relapse and i think it’s why relapse is one of my favorites. Mmlp I am partial to because I was 15 and it was the best album I’ve ever heard at that time and still is. But I was big 50 cent fan since power of a dollar and guess who’s back so besides some features and shit didn’t really listen to em and came to terms that he was done. Then Relapse hit me like a sack of potatoes. I think it’s why relapse is in my 2nd favorite Eminem album.
