Live and let live. There’s enough room at the Dj table for everyone’s taste 😉personally speaking, Mgk was never my taste. But I’m Wierd. In rap, alt rap and r&b and alt r&b I lean more Andre 3k, Mos Def, Wyclef, Anderson.Paak, Weezy, Kendrick, The Weeknd old and new, Lauren Hill, Ceelo and Gnarls Barkley, old Yellawolf, horrorcore Eminem. Mgk’s voice sonically, his verses and flow just didn’t do it for me, it’s a bit weak for my taste. I like super unique sounds and styles, also like a syrupy, dirty south sound, cadence and flow that finds the hidden pockets of a beat. With heavy, metaphoric, existential, clever, unique, sometimes quirky, and ultra intense, dark and even brutal bars. No hate on anyone. It’s like some people read Tom Clancy, some Shakespeare, some Salinger or Clive Barker. Some don’t read at all (mumble rappers?😂). Just my personal taste. Almost Everybody will like at least a few things differentiated from what u like. And that’s a good thing. Diversity is awesome. How boring it would be if we were all exactly the same thing ✌🏻

Anw all this shit aside, I actually knew him before the drama with Em' and I only liked a few of his songs and never really got into this "tough guy". But yeah he's a successful man that pleases a certain demographic I'll give him that.
