I believe he mentions Kmart a lot around this time because he bought the CEO's former house and it's his palace now, the one with the elevator! Em jokes about the elevator a lot too. It was hard for him to transition to a mansion so there are jokes about it.

This time around you're aware of all the negativity towards the album and also this song and you don't like it half as much. That's exactly what happened with this album. people heard it wasn't as good and we're ready to be disappointed, while those that went in blindly actually enjoyed it more for what it was. Always jump in new music blindly without digging too much about what people thought about it imo, no matter the genre.

Soo many people only perceive him is a cold hearted asshole...in all actuality he's fucking hilarious it just depends on your sense of humor!!! I truly believe that's exactly why he did what he did with this album he was on some goofy shit on top of the fact super high on drugs and also he says a few times through out the album he's doesnt think he is gonna top what he has already sold so he said fuck it!!! Personally dis one of my favorite albums

Even down to censorship and not showing remorse for your actions, which Eminem does in spades, is also reflected by Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man. People in the movie get offended/annoyed by some of his actions and things Dustin Hoffman does, and Eminem also has that happen to him with his lyrics. Further more they are both geniuses. "K-mart" is also where Dustin Hoffman buys his underwear. There are parallels throughout the song.
