And it wasn't that I wasn't interested in hip hop, I just didn't know it existed coz it wasn't on the radio or was being pushed! And there wasn't youtube like now. Back then it wasn't popular, people forget that so Em got me into hip hop and helped a lot to make that genre become basically "popular music" nowadays. In that aspect Drake is similar for me, everybody knows Drake even people that aren't into rap! So that helped all the other rappers back then, you can clearly see a difference in the sales number before and after em! Same for the venues, back then rappers didn't sell out arenas ect but now they do.

But tiger is the biggest phenomenon golf has ever seen. And you have old school country club guys that don’t like him because he gets all the coverage and many many people think he’s the best. And those old guys always go to Jack Nicklaus. Jack was great. But tigers impact and play is unmatched no matter how you look at it. I mean nike was only into apparel when tiger started. Because of him they started making golf clubs and golf balls. Tiger and Eminem are the best parallels in each respective game when it comes to explaining how certain people feel a certain type of way.

Lord Jamar and Nicky Poo say that hip hop is black music, well, I just want to say thanks for allowing me to enjoy it. I’m white, will turn 40 this year, and wasn’t lookin for hip hop before Em. Since him introducing me to the genre, I have taken a deep dive and found other favorite artists. I even claim (and it’s true), hip hop is my favorite music period. The racial shit missed me all together. I wasn’t raised to see skin color and I still never have but whatever to them fools. I’ll say again, I’m proud to have been around this culture my entire life and love it as if it were my own. Much love and Stevie, I watched a vid because one of my boys said you were from the crib and I am so glad I did. Thanks for what you do fam.
