It hurts to hear you say that the blowing on the toilet is just shock value.. the message through the song goes back to when he didn’t have anything. He had a DGAF attitude and it shows in this song, this and rock bottom, he’s just saying since the world gave him shit he is not giving a shit about the world. He’s essentially talking his shit in a different way

He actually had alot of skills back then as well. Obviously not like today, but for some reason he didn’t show it off. He could of and still do the Slim shock value. This song may explain it. When he was truly rapping n showing his talent, he was hated on and no one gave him a chance. Rap n being a wordsmith has been his life from such a young age. He had skill. The fact he was perceived as trash even though he knew he was better then most even then got him so angry it created Slim Shady. The only way to force ppl to know who he is n create his own lane cuz they were not gunna let a white boy get serious airplay. He had to jump over that, straight to MTV. Dr Dre is a true G. As u can see, Mmlp is barely a year later n the talent n skill is allll over that album.

Eminem mistitles his own song in this song. He references the song No One's Iller, which is a great old song from the 90s Em days. In If I Had he says "I'm sick of rappers say they wasn't feeling me on Nobody's As Ill As Me". changing the name of the song to fit the rhyme scheme. But you should check out No One's Iller

this album is not for you hahaha I think you ll like rock bottom, bad meets evil and I just dont give a fuck! I hope you will do the Marshall Mathers LP (classic hip hop album), it's completely different from this one! I think you'll like it, way less crazy talk and a lot of anger and real shit coz there was so many controversies around him, being sued all the time, being attacked by politicians ect...

this one of my faves on the album, but I can see early em not really your thing. Don't think you're gonna like much from the album, but its cool your listening anyways to get a feel for old em.
