I'm glad someone finally acknowledged my amazing synopsis of Tim's poor restaurant etiquette. Unfortunately, Nicole, rules are the foundation of any good restaurant and the only reason they don't descend into what we witnessed at the capitol building yesterday. It's somewhat endearing that you offer these small allowances but what is to stop an animal like Tim from bringing a whole box of magic spoon into your fine establishment once you've budged on the full party rule??? I propose that we get rid of the "waiting room" all together and construct a pit for all of the incomplete parties to rot.

I agree as a long-time server, especially when it’s packed and has a waiting list. I usually just tell them to hang out at the bar until their party arrives. If it’s not busy though and there are a ton of open tables then I don’t care and I let them sit. Things also depend on what type of restaurant it is, like super fancy, mediocre, or like a pizza joint, etc. And if the restaurant doesn’t take reservations it’s a different story, especially if they have no bar or big waiting area. And if they are just parking or like 5-10 minutes away I sit them. If they are late more then 20-30 minutes they will be moved to a smaller table to order or choose to wait for their party and the right size table and make hostesses and server’s lives difficult and extremely annoying.

The problem with seating partial tables is that the other half of your stupid fucking party comes an hour later. We would prefer to seat a reservation that cared enough to come on time instead of watching you sip a mocktail you retard. Ever notice that huge group of assholes standing in the lobby complaining there's no tables? That's because you and Ben are taking all the good real estate and not ordering your dinner while Whitney Cummings is adopting a homeless person outside and making everyone wait.
