I’m curious as to what you would think about Tool’s other songs like The Pot, Schism, Sober or pneuma

Reki Snipe

I put Maynards pen up against Ems any day 🤷‍♂️

Andrew

Almost every song is a metaphor in itself

Dalemore

I said the same on his Metallica has bars MOP vid.

Mark Burgess

tool is by far my favorite rock band

Oouya

You can Not talk rock bars without talking about system of a down

Dalemore

BEST MF REACTORRRRR!!!!

K&S

You should do SCHISM by Tool... it’s a way better roller coaster! 😏

Jason Ghaemi

Check out Schism by TOOL..Maynards most poetic lyrics in my opinion

TheHottToddy

Well said

Jabba WalkiiE

I won’t lie tho when I listen to tool it’s about getting lost in the instrumentals but Stevie just brought it to the other level

tgood

Both amazing songs, I really really love the title-track off this album, Aenima as well.

JAAB

I was 12 when Aenima came out (CD this song is on) I started listening to Tool at 14, have owned every album since, amazing band, on another universe man, they got layers on layers on layers. And yea they were hard into drugs for a long long time, there is a song on this album called "H" that is pretty amazing IMO, I loved it since I was a kid but didn't understand the metaphors until later in life, but the title-track Aenima is my favorite by far, the metaphors...the picture he paints, it parallels to today and they made the song in the 90s. Aenima is my favorite album, then Lateralus and then 10,000 Days, although Jambi is probably my favorite song. I'm not sure if it's still the case but something that I always thought was interesting, Maynard (the lead singer and main lyricist) said a long time ago, they believe in the interpretation of the music being paramount, so they never provided any lyrics to their music or gave the real meaning behind it (I think Maynard did with Jambi, with it being about his son, and maybe more afterward, but before that they refused to tell their meanings and left it up solely to our interpretations). Awesome reaction as always man!

JAAB

This was an awesome reaction Stevie!!!

jess.

And a few Rage Against the Machine songs with BARS I want to suggest cause I know you’ll appreciate what they’re talkin bout. The last 3 tracks off their debut album you have to hear!!! “Fistful of Steel”, “Township Rebellion”, and “Freedom”

Joshua Murphy

this whole album is absolutely next level. And this came out when I was in high school maybe and we were super into it but had no idea what they were actually talking about, me and my friends would scream all the lyrics to this and all songs off this album without any clue of the true meaning haha.

Joshua Murphy

Maynard’s other band a perfect circle brings it as well!

Sup, dawg!

Tool is the shit. Their whole catalogue is pretty legendary, especially since they didn’t release that many albums over the course of their career... But those first 2 albums?? That shit is just different. Fire. Ænima is fucking classic though from start to finish. One of the greatest albums of all time any genre any era.

Steve

Sober.

Mr. Peabody

All of Tool's stuff is like this, man. They're deep and thought provoking. Please please do more Tool! I definitely recommend doing the reactions with the lyrics. Vicarious, Schism, Lateralus, and The Pot are all great songs.

Will

When I saw the title I had a Joker smile grow on my face. I knew this was going to at the very least be interesting to you. I hope you do more Tool. They have a very high caliber catalog.

Tyler Schnabel

Bruh this rabbit hole is deep pneuma is amazing by tool

nick kelly

You have no idea the worm hole you are creating here lol

Barry Hansen

Yes. I’ve been hoping that you do tool once I saw you started doing rock reactions.

Tony Hulsey

TOOL fans are here for the song contents and topics from the jump. They introduced millions to the sheer idea of looking inside.

Mr. Peabody

Cool to go down this lane. Music is neverending

Robert Crowley

Tool is such a highly regarded band in the metal community. All members in the band are seen as among the top in their craft. Definitely would recommend diving into their discography if this type of music interests you. Also Tool fans are like Metal version of Stans.

Darren Everett

All this rock is perfect prep for Yela's Mud Mouth!!!! I think you should share your live reaction vid with him on the socials and let him know he has SOMEONE worth a damn giving him shine! Then let him know when you're going through the studio album and see what he thinks! Having Stevie ask "how the fuck are do you make 5 almost completely diff albums so shortly and how are you not fucking huge?" Would be amazing just like the Hop sit down!

Mr. Peabody

Ive been waiting for this soooo long! They are the defintion of "different". I can only hope that you will react to more of their music, its really worth it.Great breakdown as well!

catfishh

You KILLED IT BRO!

Richard Waters

You’re welcome lol, been on my to do list but put it off. He jumped on it quick

Brandon Cronk

OMG IVE BEEN WANTING STEVIE TO REACT TO TOOL!!!! I just never asked! Thank you whoever requested! Can’t wait to watch!

Mike

That’s lateralus not pneuma

Brandon Cronk

You made waaaaaay more sense of it than I did. I just listened to it to get hyped up before a football game when I was in HS...😬

Amanda Eddings

Pneuma good too, but your thinking of Lateralus

Andrew

MF DOOM - Doomsday Lol Really tho. Tool - Pot

Ace Adame

Bro you did it again killer reaction

ZACHARY HORVATH

Check out Pnuema....the song both instrumental and lyrics were done based on the Fibonacci sequence.

Roni

Yeees! Great choice, Stevie. :D Please review Jambi or Vicarious next.

Julie Khov

Oh yeah you gotta do some more Rage Against The Machine!

Jabba WalkiiE

Im sure others will be able to fill you in about Tool and the band members but I just wanna say I love this lil rock lane you're going down.

Jabba WalkiiE

Fastest I’ve ever jumped to a post notification, about time we got some Tool lol

Andrew
