2024-09-28 09:25:38 +0000 UTCYou know, each episode of Bob's Burgers has a unique theme and end credits. It really goes to show how much care and quality control goes into the show. In the theme, the the shop to the right of Bob's Burgers has a different business name every single episode. In addition, the name on the side of the pest control van changes as well, although that only begins after season 1 (but then it is consistently different every episode). Both name changes are usually puns and/or references to other media. The end credits have new animation each time, and frequently feature a song or other gag from the episode. Episode 1 is pretty basic, but they get much more interesting and detailed as the show goes on. For example, in this episode the shop next door is "P.F.E.T.A.", and the van says "Rat's all, folks! Exterminators". The shop name will be different in the theme for the next episode. Occasionally the shop in the theme will be present in the episode, but not always. So do not skip the theme and end credits on this show if you continue it!

2024-05-19 15:01:44 +0000 UTCI think this one is best watched in order. The characters grow and there is continuous lore throughout the series. It's pretty easy to watch random episodes as well, but since there are overarching stories I think you can get more out of it by watching in order.

2024-05-19 08:19:24 +0000 UTCgreat reaction to this first ep! they definitely find their sweet spot when it comes to the humor as the show goes on too. i also recommend watching in order, it's highly episodic but there ARE some running jokes and character interactions that only make sense/are best enjoyed if you watch chronologically. excited for more bobs in future!

2024-05-16 19:06:58 +0000 UTCGene is low-key hysterical. But he's an acquired taste. I'll echo the sentiment to start off watching Bob's Burgers episodes in order... at least for the early seasons. Down the line you may want to transition to random, one-off highlight episodes but I think getting the foundation laid is important so long as you're enjoying yourself.
