The first anthology is really just music over mlp season 1 clips so you can skip it, but 2 and onwards are full productions, bunch of animators worked on them all. Turnabout Storm and it's sequence Elements of Justice are fantastic, but are a bit long and would be best to watch after the series as their own series, if you decide to watch them.

On the EQG front, I remarked on YouTube earlier about the following content that Scoot hasn't watched... Music to My Ears (2014) Life Is a Runway (2015) Pinkie Spy (2015) All's Fair in Love and Friendship Games (2015) Photo Finished (2015) A Banner Day (2015) There's also a good chunk of post-Legend of Everfree shorts and "pre-series" content from 2017 that hasn't been reacted to outside of Monday Blues (10 shorts, 5 music videos). None of this is essential... but there are some banger music tracks and some great fits for the girls which I know Scoot get a kick out of. After which, there's the first season of the "Better Together" series. The first half of this series - comprising 12 3-minute shorts and 4 interactive 6-minute shorts - takes place prior to Forgotten Friendship, the first of the remaining double-length episodes which essentially take the place of the movies going forward to advance the plot. Some of these are great... many of them are just sort of mid... but it all counts as content. After Forgotten Friendship, there's 12 companion piece shorts all in the same setting, then there's Rollercoaster of Friendship, 6 more interactive shorts and 3 music videos to wrap up "Season 1". Season 2 repeats the same formula - three more double-length episodes, a plethora of related tie-in shorts and three more music videos. There are a bunch of MLP series proper shorts as well... but those probably shouldn't be watched until after Season 8.

Also; .MOV, mentally advanced series, rainbowdash presents series, smile hd, pieanimations, those are just off the top of the head but theres deffentily more than that. Id personally love to see Fallout Equestria content like crazed ramblings, but most of fallout equestria content is audio books so no visuals. Stable tech series would be shorter and also really good!!!

I liked it as a kid but rewashing it now it was pretty cringe. But sometimes a little cute. Also the Gypsy Bard song. I know that's a controversial word but the song is really good. I'll give a brief explanation of what each recommendation is about. First, I would generally recommend the videos from the "Rainbow Dash Presents" series by "Dawn Somewhere." Specifically, "Rainbow Dash Presents: The Star in Yellow," "Rainbow Dash Presents: Haunting Nightmare," „Rainbow Dash Presents Bittersweet“ and "Rainbow Dash Presents: Captain Hook the Biker Gorilla" are all classics with millions of views. These are fan animations where well-known fan fiction is recreated with alternative versions of the Mane 6. The scripts are well written, the newer videos are visually appealing, and there are original songs, and it’s a great way to learn about fan culture, famous memes, and fan fictions. The channel also offers a parody of the show’s episodes with the same alternative characters.
