EMINEM - 3AM

Comments

I always thought he said Holes not hose smh

Kaya Zelonko

if you like music and horror mixed you should try king diamond, every album is a whole story all horror. acquired taste tho

wp7678

He wants to murder in front of an audience, the song is a whole double, he means he wants to murder other rappers infornt of an audience

Eden

Art. It’s art. A real artist creates... art. Artistry.

Aidan O' Brien

'All he wants is to kill you in front of an audience While everybody is watching in the party applauding it' yeah I think it too, he's talking about killing rappers/artists and how people enjoy when Em makes those type of songs .

cathy

you gotta love the finess

Egon

Honestly Relapse was such a dope album and HIGHLY slept on mainly due to the horror core style of rap and the accents. However this shit is fire.

Larry Botts

He apologized for using "the accent" so much on this Album in recovery.

Rawland Watson Jr.

Buffalo bill/ silence of the lambs

Zachary Robinson

This should be on the tube! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Break down

Zachary Robinson

EMS flow is Apart of the beat. Off beat on beat it IS the beat

Zachary Robinson

Hard breakdown 🔥🔥

Salem

This. is one of my favorite Em songs (wish you had watched the video). I'm sure others have already told you to watch Framed they go together. Again, the video is a must.

Jl Melrose

It's already on the patreon if you wanna see it.

kikoolol

Just watch the video of the song..

rebpol

Idk, that may be a reach. I get it but thats on you making the assumption, it aint like EM doesnt have crazy serial killler songs.

Gregory Knight

Check out rabbit run track. 8 mile album

Jason haskins

Relate to TI Cent and Wayne?? i love their songs dont get me wrong but come on bro they are lyrical geniuses just talking about the same shit mumble talks about drugs bitches and how amazing they are difference is the rappers do it elegantly lol

Reece Ball

"It puts the lotion in the bucket" is a direct quote from silence of the lambs

Rando Calrissian

That’s Relapse for you.. hard ass beats with crazy ass concepts

Cam Alexander

Relapse is 🔥🔥one of my top albums by him. It’s a horror-core rap album. Em’s an true ARTIST... Artists have fun and play around with technique, constantly pushing themselves in new ways.

STARK

I agree, he takes these songs at face value when theres an obvious dubble meaning.

Joel

You're getting lazy stevie.. you have to listen to the words again, its not only shock value shit, or a random song.. its a horror movie and he is the serial killer, meaning he kills anyone (rappers/artists) in his way, without even making an effort..

rebpol

We need a stay wide awake 2.0 relapse is coming. Accents time

Albert fish is A real jerk

Eminem-“underground” is BARS 🔥

Michael manchester

STEVIE BRO YOU GOTTA REACT TO THE MUSIC VIDEO BRO ITS LITERALLY A HORROR MOVIE EM ACTED SO GOOD IN IT

Michael manchester

Stevie I don’t think anyone relates to this song unless they are a serial killer lol but people like story telling. Shit it’s just like reading a book or watching a movie. If your good at imagining what he’s saying you can play that shit in your head as he’s rapping. Eminem has always been a great story teller. Man I think a lot of us are really excited for you to get to the “relapse” album review because the whole album is like this. Hella bars and dark killer vibes. I’m glad he appreciated em’s art.

Michael manchester

Thinking about it, I think the verse structure will get you more then what he says when you really get into Relapse. His story telling is off the charts on that album. By far one of my favorite, and I am far from alone. Even with Em himself not really liking album.

William Bolen

It’s mandatory you get on framed now! One of my very favorite em songs, and it’s actually a prequel to this song! Gotta watch the video!!!

Ben

😂😂.. There's the other big excuse.. You're boxing Eminem in like all he talks about is horror related stuff or killing his mom and wife. He's got A LOT more positive and uplifting songs than he does those types of songs. I know those rappers didn't ONLY talk about those things.. But they talked about those things a lot more than Eminem has about killing his mom and wife.

Chris Ogden

YOU HAVE TO REACT TO THE MUSIC VIDEO NOW!! it’s literally a horror movie.

Concretedude

That’s kinda boxing those rappers in as if that’s all they talked about and yes I can relate to them more Em raps about killing his wife and Mom I got nothing for this lol

Jeff W

Also The Relapse album was him learning how to rap again and getting the hang of things again after he's OD about a 1 and half years before released Relapse but this one of my top 5 albums from him

Eddie Brock's Venom

This song is fire! Relapse is f’n amazing! Relapse 12 year anniversary tomorrow ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️

ShadyTitania

Damm just by thumbnail disappointed a little didn't watch the video to it because it's not distracting but has cool visuals

Eddie Brock's Venom

This is the first song I heard back in 2009 after not listening to Eminem for about 4 years and I played it on repeat for about a week. I think that’s why I love relapse so much.

D Rock

do some brotha lynch hung off his album dinner and a movie, got some nice ones on there

Paul Harris

Welcome to the horror show

daniel Lynch

I have thought this before

Plain_23

You gotta do wide awake again, now that you have an understanding of the albums tone

BeenzTTV

Now it's time you can check out FRAMED ( a prequel to this).

King Billajr

I agree with the video request to do the music video to this and framed. I know you want to do the lyric video first with framed but then maybe do both on same video when it comes to the music videos. They do add second layer on both. I'm personally not one to watch horror but from some reason when music and horror goes together I'm a fan of it. You will never get me watch Stephen King movie or read the books, but when Eminem is his horror bag I don't mind. But it is same with the Billie Eilish song and video Burry a friend. Big fan with that too.

halmond

I think this is a LowKey shot at the rappers careers he has killed. At least the hook anyway. Probably a stretch but I'm gonna run with it

Justin Watson

Oh gotcha couldn't remember for sure

Brad Martindale

Waiting for framed

Omar Zaime

Nah to Frame on Revival. Stay Wide awake is actually a track that comes up later in the album.

kikoolol

@GhostlyRipper it’s very likely. I made almost the same comment last time he reviewed a Relapse song and fucked with it (it might have been music box or buffalo bill, can’t remember which)

Steve

I might be remembering wrong but I think this is supposed to be a sequel to stay wide awake

Brad Martindale

Atlanta georgia

Flovin Fossdalsá

Feel like I've seen this comment b4

GhostlyRipper

Beat, flow and rhyme schemes are great but the fucking accent man. His voice is grating to my ears

GhostlyRipper

Also I know u did stay wide awake a long time ago but can’t wait for a revisit cuz his rhyme schemes on that are insane!!!

Mike

Yea this is relapse em and he’s on his crazy serial killer cadence with this album. But yea people saying they can’t relate so he’s trash doesn’t make sense to me I can and do listen to all kinds of shit that I don’t relate to. U don’t have to relate to enjoy it. Most can’t relate to gangster rap but I can still enjoy it but I don’t do non of the shit rappers talk about lol

Mike

He lives there but is not from there

Mike

Things get worse? :D

Dezy

Framed should be next

Ashley Jones

Can't wait till you revisit 'Stay wide awake' 😩😁

Bargard

Yo me it’s Em getting on his Stephen King bag. No difference then that song and a horror flick

Mark Bailey

You gotta follow up now with Framed its like part 2 of this one, and you have two watch the video should of for this one also

Taariq Bardien

Are you from San Diego Stevie?

Gabriel Glover

I love that he's able to tell a movie-like story. He doesn't sit around and talk about his cars. He takes you on a ride. My imagination sees this like it's a whole movie. Who else is telling stories like that.

Jimmy McMinn

This song is FLAMES!

Jimmy McMinn

I think with that mindset u got in the vid u gonna like most of Relapse .. its his serial killer album ..but on hard beats ,insane rhyme schemes and crazy crazy flows But for real bro, some of his wildest songs are on relapse tho

Nudelwixxx Junior

Please watch 3AM video, when you do Relapse album reaction, it's also dope.

D3mon

Yes, I can't wait for his review I love Relapse

cathy

And I love all of the rappers I mentioned.. But I'm not a billionaire, haven't been shot neither 5 nor 9 times, and wasn't raised by Black Panthers. (Unless my mom is really good at hiding her past)

Chris Ogden

I would listen to him rap about Disney. 😂😂.. And I'm an old man, too. It's just irritating when everyone says that they can't relate to his music, but they can relate to Jay-Z, 2Pac, or 50.. Knowing damn well you've never sold rocks, killed anyone, or owned a Maybach.

Chris Ogden

He said songs about Disney I said no one wants to hear that lol again down below I said Ems pen game is elite but 80% of his songs are blah because of the content and the beat selection in my old man opinion lol

Jeff W

whats it called?

TimmyBlayze

I mean nobody relates to that. Except psychopaths I guess. But the rap yeah this song is crazy.

Kostia

That's my favorite off that cd too

Terrell Peterson

U gotta check out things get worse dawg, the one without b.o.b. Em has 3 verses on it. It’s dope af.

Finicher

Do Eminem - Underground 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Abdulaziz Alshaiji

can you do same song and dance, my fav from this album :)

Beef_Stu

You and people who have similar taste don't (and there's nothing wrong with that) so why say no one ? I personally fuck with it heavy. Always loved horror stuff be it in movies, novels or rap songs. To each his own.

kikoolol

Been waiting on this one Stevie! You should do a 90 minute block on the whole relapse album, the extended one. Good shit

Jerry DiGiovanni

Man I wish EM would write a horror film

Lorenzo

How can you not relate to this song smh

Nicolás Montiel

Yeah but no one wants to hear it though

Jeff W

Like Tyler The Creator Said - on a Flow pespective Nobody will even able to do what Em did on Relapse!

Peu Oliver Guimarães

Em pen game is elite but his songs are blah like if I wanted to listen to Brotha Lynch lite I would lol

Jeff W

Let’s get Gatman and Robin

David Gonzalez

1000% agree. This song was the tell for me if he’d like that album or bot

Michael Nielsen

There’s also a Prequel... “Framed” there’s a video for 3am & framed

VeteranReacts

This is the relapse album in a vacuum. Looking forward to that album review

Michael Nielsen

All of these Em haters' biggest argument is that they can't relate to his music.. Neither can he most of the time, but he's still out-rapping everyone else. Dude could write a song about spending a day at Disneyland or from the perspective of a damn seahorse and make it believable and more lyrical than anyone else. That's what makes him great.

Chris Ogden

yes, i love relapse, very underated album

Beef_Stu

This is the intro to Relapse. The next album. I wishef no one would request it before the album review

Flovin Fossdalsá

Can't help but to think how suspenseful and exciting it would be to make a smooth cool ass beat and hand it to Em. Em hands back the finished product like "Did that go the way you thought it was gonna go? Nope."

Britt Ramsey

Finally

Roman Paliy

Framed is a sequel to 3am it was on revival

Ryan

Do yourself a favor and watch the video. It adds another layer to the horror feeling. And who doesn’t njoy a good horror film.

Janni Nielsen

You’re so articulate yet gangster. Love it big dog.

Aitor Blazquez

The lotion in the bucket is from the Silence of the Lambs, you nailed it.

Taylor Oien

I have a strong feeling Stevie is gonna fuck with Relepse. It’s all Dre beats and the rapping em puts on display is a fucking rap clinic. The subject matter is irrelevant. The beats and rhyme schemes are goat tier on relapse.

Steve

i cant wait to see this album review, its definitely not his best work but its probably my favorite

Alex Borges

Hell yeah I've been waiting on this one, really underrated track imo "She puts the lotion in the bucket" etc., is definitely a reference to Silence of the Lambs, you got it. The way you talk about Eminem's skill versus a personal preference for a particular sound, it's pretty similar to how I feel about Floyd Mayweather Jr. I'm not a fan, he's not the style of fighter I typically enjoy, but I run across these people all the time who say he's a trash boxer, or overrated, etc., which is just pure nonsense. Like him or not, he's one of the best to ever lace em up. Just like Em, maybe he's not your cup of tea, but he's one of the very best to ever put pen to pad.

WhatRaySay

Right?! Couldn't agree more, this was a nice surprise after seeing nothing but "Dear Slim" thumbnails all day

WhatRaySay

Same album as Music Box & Buffalo BIll - Relapse, though those 2 were on the re-released version of the album Relapse: Refill, which included some bonus tracks.

Taylor Oien

Morning Stevie :) thank you for gracing us with your intellectual reviews. please do a reaction to the demo version of “Lose Yourself”

Julie Khov

Oh THANK YOU needed to see something good instead of people reacting to that “dear Slim” (sorty to anyone liking TM I just rally don’t)

Janni Nielsen
