No one is comparing him to Eminem. He’s not even close. That’s not hate that’s real. And youtube has 1 billion views a day. So while a million views on his videos is great and he should be proud of that, I don’t know what that has to do with anything or how in your mind that means he can be compared to Eminem. And yea 69 was a gimmick and he got like 40 million views in one day when his video dropped on YouTube. And did that every video for about 6 straight. And he’s trash. So I don’t get your point here. And you can’t say in 2000 everyone called Eminem a gimmick. Who called him a gimmick? No one I knew did back then. Everyone I knew was a fan. Girls loved him and if you didn’t like his music you thought he was funny but everyone recognized the talent. My name is was number one on trl and when he was done promoting that album and touring he dropped MMLP and went platinum. Then did the up in smoke Tour. Then Eminem show Platinum. Then d12 album. Then 8 mile. Then signed 50 cent. All that from 2000-2004 That’s not a gimmick. Tom is a gimmick by definition Pic your mic back up son.

It wasn't as great as it could have been and there is alot that I personally don't like about tom Macdonald. But the lyrics matched the video and he had a Eminem flow. Again though Tom is not even in my top 20 bur Dear Slim is a song all Eminem fans need to listen to at least once. Its a great take on Ems song stan and is an alright tribute to THE G.O.A.T!!!!

In that regard, you could argue that he makes racist statements. In one of his more popular songs, "Fake Woke", he says "I think Black Lives Matter was the stupidest name / When the system's screwin' everyone exactly the same...Order food and call the cops, see what reaches you first." Not only is this factually inaccurate, it's not understanding like he and his fans want outsiders to be of him. I don't like any artist getting hated for his music, and I see areas for discussion on the topics, which makes him impactful in some regard.
