ADAM CALHOUN - RACISM

Comments

You probably won't see this but I literally joined patreon just so I can ask you please do more reactions to Adam Calhoun's music I know how you feel about that one word and there's so many great songs without that please react to his actual music I think it's up your alley

James Childers

so glad you followed up with the interview! You rock Stevie and I got some comment readings to get caught up on..lol

Toni-Ann

YOOO! What's going on here...šŸ‘€ I ain't ever hear a white boy say that word in a mainstream music track before😲 I had to check it out after that interview.... I'm white and I was uncomfortable with that...damn!😵

Toni-Ann

Stevie you only stopped saying the ā€œnā€ word cuz your ass knew you were being hypocritical about it. Watch your first videos you can’t stop fucking saying it bro.

Jose Martinez

I appreciate your honesty n I’m sure you’rea good person but why do so many good white people try to act like all labels are the same. Yes because history says so. So for that reason it’s not the same. For example ā€œCalling someone a bitch or slut compared to calling someone a Nigger is not just another ā€œlabel or name callingā€ it’s actually constant reminder of when your people held my ppl in bondage, in chains like animals. No worst than animals. Whipped, raped, n beaten to death. Stripped from our original names, language n cultures n religious beliefs. So no i I can’t let you minimize what that word means to US specifically when used by WHITE people because it comes with a negative undertone that you can’t hide even when you try. N I can’t let you chalk it up to ā€œthat’s where he grew and the company he keepsā€ cuz that’s BS. Sorry but I gotta call bullshit when I hear it. Adam is a grown ass adult He’s not a 8 year old boy who doesn’t know the history of that word and what it represents. Cuz I guarantee if his ass was in a room full of uppity class white folks in a professional setting he knows not to use that word or any other curse word around them. He’s conscious enough to act professional then he’s conscious enough to not use that word. And that’s the problem with white men like Adam. They are so privileged in this world that they think they are the only exception smh it’s he wants the respect from black ppl but he doesn’t wanna be black. He doesn’t wanna lose all his privileges that come with being a white man in a white mans world but he also thinks and knows that black people are the literally the inventors and trend setters of all music that’s popular today and he wants our respect. But nah man. It ain’t happening. Grow up n get out your bubble. If not fine. Piss off. He’s the definition of a culture vulture. And btw none of that energy towards you my friend. But you did say somethings that aren’t acceptable and you really need to evaluate your outlook on life or on black ppl if you wanna speak on it. Which your open to do. I’m not against white ppl having an opinion. But just be mindful of your words. For words are powerful and they control the actions before the action happens. Peace ā˜®ļø and love dude. Nothing personal

Diverse Project

Yo Adam makes me appreciate Tom. Lmao used to think they were one of the same but nahh. I mean I still think Tom isn’t for me. I can’t get into him. But as a person I Fux with him over Adam. I don’t think Tom racist but he is a clout chaser. He gotta chill with that n just make music. I understand Eminem is his idol but damn. But Adam can piss off dude’s a racist lol

Diverse Project

That would be a savage Video. WE got your back @stevieknight

daniel Lynch

WTF shut up man, Steve is being real here, the concept of this song is dope. But come on. there is a line

daniel Lynch

Personally I think everyone should use the N word all the time for everything. If every race used it in a positive way it would take away it's power. I feel like pretending it doesn't exist or trying to get less people to use it just makes others want to use it more. Idk. But I have no clue what it's like to have a word negativity impact me, so my opinion doesn't really matter.

dennis pugh

I truly believe he *used* the surface level message ("unity") to try to overpower any negative blowback to his true message/intent, which was *his* freedom of speech, because he could have gotten the "unity" message across without saying it himself, but he couldn't have gotten the freedom of speech part across without saying it himself, if that makes sense, just my two cents. I have no real factual basis for this reasoning, but it just makes the most logical sense, on top of the fact that this comments section shows how divisive it was, as opposed to unifying, if that means anything at all.

JAAB

And people think Tom is trash lol this Adam fellow is not good it all now mesus is bomb

Jonathon Stafford

I cant relate to how you feel due to the fact I am a white guy and has never been caught up in the whole racism thing, being 51 I did come up in a area that was populated by both white and black, We never had issues with calling each other what you hear in this video so I can say the comfort level for Adam prob has to do with where he comes from and the company he keeps, but I can say it may not compare in terms of history but calling people names and labeling them is hurtful no matter the race, I just find it sad to think someone think its ok one way but not the other just because history said so. I Love your Channel Stevie and totally enjoy what you put out thank you.

john brignac

I just watched the reaction. I'm sorry Stevie šŸ˜ž

Shadowlands _1

Facts. When all is said and done, we are human beings. Our government keeps us pinned against each other as a means of control but if white people and black people could come together there would be no stopping us.

Shaine Babjeck

IDK if this is on that message or another video or whatever but like I always say unless they been through it and they're our color they'll never understand and I feel just like you I like some of Adams songs until this one

Mia Claudio

I attended an all white school and got called the N word by racists day in day out, but what I learned was there was a difference between racists and white people. The white people never called me the N word only the racists did that. So I cool with any white person, unless they give me a reason not to be, but the racists can go fuck themselves.

Anne-Marie Thawes

And just like Stevie I grew up in the hood where no white Ppl lived. Just blacks and Latinos. And we all used the N word with each other. Not in a negative way of course. But I’m 31 years old and I don’t want my son speaking like that so I stopped using that word. I try to control my cussing as well. I wanna lead by example. Be a role model to my son. Never.Ignorant.Getting.Goals.Accomplished (N.I.G.G.A.) -Tupac

Diverse Project

100000% but you know what’s the best part of all these racist exposing themselves? Lol they all going to hell anyways šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ so I sleep peacefully at night knowing that. Can’t let them upset me everytime. I used to let racist Get to my head. I’ve been in all white schools where I met a few cool kids. Some who are still my friends today. One of them is the god father to my son so trust me I have no hate for white ppl but sadly the majority of those schools were racist af including the teachers. I used to fight every other week smh they call me the N word n boom I snap. But I stopped letting them control my emotions. Took a while. N I’m still working on it.

Diverse Project

OK well I see your point and there’s nothing wrong with asking Stevie to react to it, if your intention was to get his opinion and not just to cause offence. From what you’ve said I do believe you had the right intentions, so I’ll take back what I said. I agree it would be an interesting discussion with the racist, to get his thoughts on how that trash song does anything to end racism.

Anne-Marie Thawes

Well said! I’m absolutely appalled at some of the comments on here. Trying to justify their vile racist attitudes by hiding behind the pathetic freedom of speech argument. The use of that word by a white person signifies their true hatred of anyone who isn’t white. That word is just another way of saying non-whites are inhuman. Dress it up however you want, I know for a fact that’s what these disgusting racists believe.

Anne-Marie Thawes

Damn you are an inspiration man, you seem to have an amazing way of looking at things, thank you as well, that was an amazingly open-minded response, and really hit home, and I will make a point to try to impart your words to others. Very true words, especially in today's world, actions are still important as well, but words are more important now than they ever were in the past, in a world dominated by social media, text messages, and email. I'm bad with emojis, but right back at you!

JAAB

Thank you man I appreciate that. They say actions speak louder than words but sometimes his word is all that a man’s got. So we good my brother āœŠšŸ¾āœŠšŸ¼

Diverse Project

Mr. Larson šŸ˜‚ you are a fool. I hope no one in the comment section takes you serious šŸ˜‚ at least now we all know who suggested Stevie to React to this trash ass song lmao

Diverse Project

Well said my brother, we don't really know each other, but I will remember your name, respect from the bottom of my heart, I know I might not be considered one of them until I prove it to you personally, so this ain't officially directed at me, but I hope to show it through my words and actions, you definitely are someone I would call my ally.

JAAB

Lol Yo Stevie ! I hope you finally see you got some racist ass followers that only like you cuz they like to see you complement their favorite rappers. Y’all are disgraceful and I haven’t even watched Stevie video yet. I came to the comment section first with popcorn lmao cuz I know Stevie is a smart black dude that’s no going for this Adam racist dude. Tryna disguise his racism by comparing hill billie red necks to hood black folks lol the key word is ACCOUNTABILITY. Adam doesn’t wanna admit he’s the most privileged kind of human walking this earth. Yes it’s a white mans world. That shit ain’t no saying. It’s a fact. Th denial is disgusting. I know some good fucking white ppl man. And I fucking love them because they understand the shit we go through and they have sympathy. Fuck all the political shit idc who you vote for. When shit goes down I just hope you have back just like I would have yours. I appreciate woke white ppl man. I have Two great friends who are white n they don’t stand for no racist shit. They’ll put their own parents in their place if they had to. Shout out to all the white Allies. I fucking love you guys

Diverse Project

Also, when you compare ā€œcrackerā€, to the N word there is no comparison. Cracker hasn’t been used to belittle and entire race for hundreds of years. You can make whatever argument you want, but the word cracker is indeed a racial slur but holds not even 1% of the pain and suffering the N word has caused. There is no word for any other race that compares to that word that was used to hate and belittle an entire race. End of discussion.

Jonathan Amos

Absolutely agree with your points.

JAAB

Rae, why are you so certain that the song is about that? Hear me out a second. So you say the song's main purpose is about unity and the stereotypes, and so does Calhoun, right? Okay cool let's run with that. So could he have made the song have the same message about unity, without he himself saying that word? Second question, could he have said "that word" in the song, without coming off as basically definitively racist, if the songs theme didn't seem to be about "unity"? These two questions are what lead to my opinion, the song wasn't really about unity, that's just a clever coating, it was about his freedom of speech more than anything else, sandwiched in this message of unity, and that's my issue, he could have done the song without saying that word and had the same (read: better effect, let's be honest, where's this supposed unity he was goin for? surely not in this comments section...) effect. You can never prove intent so we will never know, but that's my opinion on the matter, it makes the most sense IMO.

JAAB

REALLY!??? SHUT TF UP!!

Angela Kirk

This is a video he put out today. Shows you where his mind is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5abfB2ySOfg

Jimmy McMinn

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECnnfs_DncU

Jimmy McMinn

Adam Calhoun pays him to react to his music. He has openly talked about it. Pretty sure he doesn't react to him anymore.

Jimmy McMinn

Steve grow up

Trent Larson

This song was some real bullshit - the idea of comparing white trash/hill billy lifestyle to what African Americans have experienced over the years? Nah, that ain’t it! That’s even before dude starts dropping n-bombs left and right.

Tim

Though I respect your opinion, I disagree. This song is suppose to bring awareness to stereotypes for both white and black ppl. If a black person calls a white person a cracker isn't that racial slur? Being from Illinois and white like A Cal, some of us can say nigga and black ppl don't get mad. This song was made to start conversation over the stereotyping of all races.

Rae Winget

We also have grants and millions of reimbursements for what’s happened in the past. We’ve gotten a significant amount of land back in Oklahoma. Tribal Land to be exact and reservation land. But right now at this minute there’s more hate towards black than anyone else. Stop being hateful and look at what all the racists white people say and talk about. You also probably think BLM supporters trashed cities. Peaceful marches and at night who was the main culprit of building being destroyed and families losing hard earned businesses? CAUCASIANS. Get your shit straight.

Jonathan Amos

Trent, I am Native Americans. We ā€œhadā€ it hard. Dumb fuck. Now we own 80% of casinos. And make billions. We’ve gotten our money’s worth. I’m the furthest from being a racist. People like you are the problem. You have tunnel vision and I pray you open up your right little brain and take a look around at what’s actually going on. Have a nice day.

Jonathan Amos

I really think the point everyone should focus on is how black people and white people are pinned against one another, specifically lower and middle class. A united nation is harder to control. Something to think about

Shaine Babjeck

John you need to stfu and stop being a little bitch, you and people like you are what’s wrong with the country!! And the native Americans have it 10x worse then blacks do some research before you open your racist ass mouth!!!

Trent Larson

I get his points, and a lot of what he said is true. His point at the end about The Man pinning us against each other for their own gain and control is spot on. However this ain’t it man. Making a song dropping N words was not the way to accomplish this message and as a white dude that just felt nauseating to hear. Like I said his message is a good one but the delivery was not.

Shaine Babjeck

At the end of the day Stevie was right, you can’t compare what happened to Caucasian’s to African Americans. It doesn’t matter if it was worse at one time or not. At the end of the day right now there is more hate crime towards blacks, there has always been stereotypical tv shows, racist tv shows, racist human beings who look down on another human for being a certain skin color or listening to certain music. I was raised in Kentucky, I’ve heard the hard ER a million times. And even I felt uncomfortable at the age of 10. Some people are so ignorant to the fact that it’s used to belittle people who are just like you. People who have families, who have jobs. It doesn’t matter what anyone says or what people think, African Americans in this country are hated against more than any other race or culture. It’s simple. Get your heads out of your asses and realize there’s an issue that needs to be fixed before it tears all of us down. And it starts with accountability. Consistent rulings in court for hate crimes. But some people just need to get their ass beat for being ignorant.

Jonathan Amos

It was to get his thoughts on it, like he said and the beginning of the video. He shared thoughts, wants to have more discussions on it. That should be a good thing, getting people to understand the word is offensive and even if it had good intentions there was other ways to do it. I never understood why nolifeshaq was actually fine with it and laughing. Personally, not just based on this song but watching a lot of calhoun videos of him just talking, I think he's ignorant, racist and so are a few others he's worked with that should be... not dealt with but be involved in a conversation discussing stuff like this. And Adam has videos discussing it with black folks but they were posted on his channel, id like him to sit with Stevie and talk about it

EnVy316LeGeNd

These are the people they try to put Yelawolf in a box with when he’s been here a decade before these people and this new movement of rappers

Alexander DT

Great reaction bro, with you šŸ’Æ! šŸ‘šŸæ

Booker Warren

This guy is straight trash don’t react to this racist ass weirdo and give him any light

D Rock

No white dude has a right to say that word. And if they don’t understand that they are racist bottom line. I hate white dudes that say it

D Rock

Nope sorry, not buying that argument. White people are very well informed about the offence caused when they use that word. We’re living in the age of information, you’d have to be brain dead not to know the history of that word.

Anne-Marie Thawes

I don’t know how you kept so calm and politically correct. Mad respect... My first time seeing this and this is messed up. I don’t know if he had good intention to be honest... I don’t see how this does anything other than enable racism and create more anger between white/black. Someone should have knocked his teeth out by now. Him & whoever else in his camp that involved in releasing this are either ignorant or deliberately disrespectful. Fuck this dude

cr!t!c

Might have something to do with the fact that any white person alive today born after 1980 doesn't understand the offense caused by that word because for the most part we have grown up in mixed neighborhoods with black kids as our best friends since kindergarten dealing with the same exact things in life together side by side and have not had the experience of seeing black people discriminated against in real life society. I don't know how things are where you live but in the northern states like here in Kenosha Wisconsin we simply don't have white on black racism period. We have some black individual racists, some individual white racists, Hispanic racists, Asian racists, etc. Racism as a societal issue simply does not exist where I live. For ever Jacob Blake there is a Michael Bell only in modern society the Michael Bell story won't see Mainstream Media because it doesn't fit the narrative. For every George Floyd there is a Tony Timpa, only Tony's family will never receive a $27 million dollar settlement by the city or have rioters burn down the city as in both Blake and Floyd's deaths. The reason that there are a lot of white people today born after 1980 that truly don't understand the offense caused by that word is because black people today born after 1980 haven't had to live through any of the racial oppression that gave that word (with the ER) the power to be offensive. In this country freedom is freedom and no person should receive different benefits based on the color of their skin yet white people are the only group that get disqualified from many government subsidies simply based on our skin color regardless if we live in the same neighborhood and come from the same economic lower working class households and we are just sick of the double standard being used today in society. It's either we all have a brand new slang word "nigga" meaning friend homie or brother, or the word means the same thing as it spelled with er at the end in which case NOBODY should say it if they EXPECT somebody else not to say it and that goes for every rapper actor athlete or media personality because at this point everybody says it including Asian and Hispanic people without any blow back from society. None of us "white" people oppressed anyone in our life and the majority of our ancestors didn't even come to this country until after 1865 and had nothing at all to do with any of the slavery or oppression going on back then. I was raised on Masta-Ace, Dr. Dre, Outcast, and other influential rappers of the early 90's. I grew up watching new episodes of fresh prince and Martin along with the Cosby show and Sanford & Son. My best friends growing up were all black kids and we slept over each other's homes and ran the neighborhood at all hours of the night. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US PERIOD.

WILL PULERA

He enjoyed saying it, bet he’s never happier than when he gets to use the N word.

Anne-Marie Thawes

Nah I was right the first time!

Anne-Marie Thawes

Oh & I’ll be sure to tell the UK government to keep their laws in the UK - simpleton!

Anne-Marie Thawes

Is that right and what will his peers do exactly - give him a slap on the wrist?

Anne-Marie Thawes

It's the comfort thing for me. Why's he so comfortable saying it? It rolls off this tongue like he's used to saying it.

John Fogs

Not racists, realists

Mike Morgan

Keep that shit in the UK. I don't like the word, but it can't hurt you. If the white guy uses it against a black guy, he'll be held accountable by peers. Government has NO PLACE in that situation.

Mike Morgan

I appreciate you man!! I feel you. I’ve been here from the beginning. I watched you personally transition. I appreciate your stance and not compromising. Keep on keeping on!!

Brendan Curtis

Yeah in slavery times blacks had it real good, got to live in a big house whilst they were having their limbs chopped off for trying to escape their luxury living quarters šŸ™„

Anne-Marie Thawes

Closet racists on here playing dumb (or maybe not), hiding behind the freedom of speech argument, pretending not to understand the offence caused by that word when used by a white person šŸ™„.

Anne-Marie Thawes

I’m not ok with him saying that word. I’m not ok with a black man saying cracker either so I’m not ok with this. Just my thoughts though. If I called someone the N word I’d expect blows to be dealt the same way I’d feel if someone calls me a cracka

Chris Sturgill

I’m stunned someone actually thought it was OK to ask Stevie to react to that racist shit. Absolute disgusting!

Anne-Marie Thawes

Damn, closet hardcore racists came out the woodwork in these comments

Ricky St. Augustine

You sound like the type of person that just likes to stir up shit, you bored with your life or something?

Anne-Marie Thawes

I’ll give NLS a miss thank you!

Anne-Marie Thawes

šŸ˜‚. I sound crazy? For pointing out the laws on race in the UK? What are you on, you clown!

Anne-Marie Thawes

Some ppl just feel and react differently abt it. And Stevie gets that. Which is all good.

Robert

U sound crazy. And fascist for that statement. Mightaswell ban EVERY offensive word and throw anyone in jail who offends anybody. Dude was proving a point in the song. Andy didn’t listen in the ending. Too busy getting triggered. Didn’t use hard R either. And u want ppl to be ā€œarrestedā€. Like a softy. Insteadi of them just smashed the dudes face like a man. Tf wrong w you lol.

Robert

Y’all go watch NOLIFESHAQ’s Reaction to this song bro lol. POLAR OPPOSITE. Dude straight laughed at the n word being used LOL. As he should. He one of the coolest untriggered dudes out here.

Robert

OMG who requested Stevie react to this racist garbo???? SMH! Wow, so in a work situation in the US a white person can use the N word against a black person (under the guise of freedom of speech) without any repercussions ???? I’m staggered. In the UK you would get arrested for that shit!

Anne-Marie Thawes

This right here it the reason I support you Stevie. I’ve never seen you be so uncomfortable and despite that you sat through it and made your opinion known in a calm way - you may have thought it was all over the place but to me it made perfect sense. I’m not from the US so I will never understand the devide between black and white america but I just don’t understand why (some) white americans look at black people as inferior to white. As a white woman I will never claim to understand what that word does to a black person. I can only hope that one day white people will stop using it as a derogatory way.

Janni Nielsen

worldstar in the comments?

Sean

I'd be down just need the time so I can arrange it around my work schedule

GhostlyRipper

It wasn't that deep. Just some misunderstandings. I've said my peace already, all love to everyone in here. But I don't mess with Adam Calhoun AT ALL

GhostlyRipper

There's some bot or somethin you can do with Discord I think that might be of use if that goes down

JAAB

Fuck Adam Calhoun. His music is ass and the only reason I've ever heard of him is Upchurch (Who Raps Circles Around Him) and Adam pulling stunts like this.

Jimmy McMinn

That was amazingly well said, thank you for sharing your thoughts

JAAB

The yelawolf not liking him an not wanting to be associated with him because of him using that word is kinda of hypocritical of yelawolf considering one of his songs with Caskey. Caskey says it on his verse

Steve Wright II

Exactly!!! The point was more about his freedom of speech than the racism when he said that word, if it was really about "unity" he wouldn't have done it, knowing the division it causes. The moment he said that word, it became more about his freedom of speech than anything else, and IMO that's actually what the whole song was about, I didn't know about the other video, but that makes it make even more sense IMO.

JAAB

This hits the nail on the head for me, feel exactly the same (except the Yelawolf part, didn't know that)

JAAB

Might get a little outta hand, either it’d be really good or really bad not sure how it’d play out, but I have a feeling the ones who like to type the most won’t be vocal when it comes down to it.....

David

I'm def thinkin bout doin that

Gregory Knight

Uhh knight talk content, get everyone in these comments together in a discord video chat with Stevie being the mediator and have some healthy dialogue...... hahahahhaha if healthy dialogue is even possible.

David

That’s why Yelawolf don’t like him because he said the n word so freely

Humberto Arreguin

This is why the minute I saw this reaction I knew it would be trainwreck city in here but some of y’all exposed your asses but anyways we should all move on lol

Jeff W

God damn right my Minds made up, I should have an open mind about using the N word and or who’s using it? Lmao this is comical gold. All of you really have no idea what your talking about and you dont get it you really don’t. But oooook I’ll step back I’ll let the children discuss how they feel about the matter lol

Michael manchester

Well then maybe it should be a hate crime only when used by someone other than an African American I mean shit it really isn’t anyone else’s to use in the first place.

Michael manchester

bro this michael guy just won’t let up ong, go read what i said. dead ass just tryna be rational and he’s calling me right wing trump supporter šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Matt

bro right šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ would love to see gibbs on the channel/patreon tbh instead of guys like calhoun

Matt

my guy why’re you so triggered good lord. i was yang gang all the way btw šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ i literally said i’m not a fan of the use of it either. but if you want it to be a hate crime then have fun listening to anyone like dababy, cole, kendrick, jay, nas, any black rapper etc. dude i’m not saying i agree with the use of it i’m saying it’s dumb to get this upset over it and that you would have a much better response to everything you’re saying if you didn’t come across so arrogant and was instead open minded. you’re lowkey playing white savior here my guy šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø if you’re just going to come off acting as if everything your saying is factual then there’s no reason for anyone to keep responding to you as your mind is already made up. i’m a right wing idiot because i care about the constitution? šŸ˜‚ michael good luck in life, i really wish you the best love 😘

Matt

So I’m a child because I want the use of the N word not acceptable? Because your okay with it because it’s backed by the constitution? Theres laws against crimes but using the N word shouldn’t be a crime? What about hate crime? Oh I’m sorry that would go against your constitutional right. You come on here and think your the shit because you approached this subject acting like such a intellectual wow your soooooo informed. No your paranoid your scared that if the N word being used was breaking a law then what’s next. Your paranoia is right in line with trump and his followers. You aren’t an intellectual your a paranoid right wing idiot.

Michael manchester

greg, ghostly and michael all need to just sit back and think about what y’all doin. really arguing on patreon šŸ˜‚ look i get it, people won’t like this song and honestly that’s completely understandable as it’s a cultural norm for us to be shocked when someone other than black people say the n word. on the other side of the coin, and i hate to say this, it is adam free speech to say whatever he wants and i will always be on the side of the first amendment. may not always agree but that’s what keeps the US from going down the drain. and i get the message of the song, but to say what someone else said it just makes things more divisive instead of bringing people together. imagine if adam used his platform and had a productive convo with another white man amd 2 black men about the use of the N word and how’s it’s changed over history. now that’s something that would actually be great to see but instead this guy goes for the shock factor which leads to people like ghost, eric, michael, and greg just looking like children with all the bickering. it’s patreon not youtube y’all

Matt

That song was ass. LMAO imagine feeling inspired from that.

brandon clark

this is patreon not youtube lmao

Matt

bro chill lmao

Matt

Wow society has gone soft. I’m done here. Yeah he has the constitutional right to say the N word and those of you that want to back the use of it have the right but I’m saying I have the right to defend the other side, which is why I even started this with you assholes. Getting all politically correct with me instead of agreeing that the fucking word should not be used shows that you dont agree with me you agree with Adam plain and simple. What was your intent on coming at me people? Was it because I wasn’t politically correct? Ha bullshit it’s because your mad that someone is going above and beyond to criticize someone in your race using a word that shouldn’t be used. So naturally your offended and guess what ā€œI just don’t give a fuckā€ grow some balls men most of you these days don’t have any.

Michael manchester

WOW Stevie you are truly the goat at this I’ve watched several reactions to this song by Adam Calhoun and you’re the only one that actually saw what he was doing

Patrick Clute

Umm Michael, Greg is right. Adam has a right to say whatever he wants including the N-word. The First Amendment protects several basic freedoms in the United States including freedom of religion, speech, the press, the assemble(Protest), and the right to petition the government. It was part of the Bill of Rights that was added to the Constitution on December 15, 1791. No one likes that he said it but he unfortunately is allowed to. If you say he can’t say that than it becomes a censorship problem. We need to counter-act his speech with educational speech. We teach people like Adam Calhoun what the N-word means and where it comes from.

Denasia Greene

This racism stuff is going to be around forever my peeps. So don’t let 1 bad egg spoil the bunch. Push that to the back of your minds and lift our brothers and sisters up with positivity and later on in humanity things will be better. But in this very moment we just have to be good to each other no matter the differences we all have. People get to jumping when each others opinions collide with each others but we just need to accept that we all think differently

Jo Austral

Yea Wayne went stupid on that one, definitely worth a reaction

James Pansullo

Eminem faced racism

Robert

Well said šŸ™šŸæ

GhostlyRipper

Yes! Wayne killed that shit too

Steve

Don't throw me in with that Michael fella. I wasn't participating in any of that foolishness he was doing. Just saying

GhostlyRipper

Royce got all bent out of shape at Yela and it was his issue and "beef" to handle over use of the N word WHEN IT WASN'T EVEN YELA WHO SAID IT NOR WAS HE PRESENT... so fuck this fake woke closet racist fuck. THESE ASSHOLES ARE NOT ALLIES STEVIE!

Mr. Peabody

Fuck man that’s disgusting. Fuck this clown. As a white rapper if you wanna make a song about racism, go for it, you can definitely accomplish that goal and not say the N word. There’s no reason for it. And if he REALLY wanted that word used in his song he could have just featured a black rapper to portray that role (and it probably would have been even more impactful too).

Steve

I went back and fixed it 🄰

Greg Swaney

I hope Stevie is even paying attention.,.. just created content for your other talky channel to cover by putting this appropriation, all lives matter, hickhop closet racist fucker on this channel... This shitbag deserves to be in the trash right alongside Tom, Upchurch, and any of the other fuckers who openly beefed with Yela for NOT being ALL LIVES MATTER. They've been vocal about being shitbags, they deserve no play and it's deceit people pretend they deserve a free shot, no the fuck they don't.

Mr. Peabody

Alright then. So it was just bad wording. It's cool

GhostlyRipper

The "he should be" part was referencing that he should be specific when talking about things. And I even said when I've heard him discuss it he's done so but I also said that I wasn't saying that he didn't at some point say they were both bad. I was agreeing with you.... 🤷

Greg Swaney

@Greg Swaney Your response to me mentioning his negative comments towards BLM "He should be too then šŸ˜‰ Everytime I've personally heard him speak about BLM he's distinguished between the movement and the group but I'm not saying it didn't happen." Emphasis on "he should be" bad wording huh?

GhostlyRipper

@Benjamin Stanley It's tough. There's no easy solution

GhostlyRipper

Very well said hypnotik! ā¤ļø

Benjamin Stanley

Wait... Haha how does it sound like I agree with him? Are you just skipping over what I said before and replying to what you believe in your mind that I replied with? I SPECIFICALLY said the BLM message is a good message. The BLM organization is shit. Are you getting in your feelings now too like Michael Manchester? Settle down homie. It's just the internet.

Greg Swaney

Is it possible just to take a step back for a moment? Honestly, I appreciate Stevie for dropping this reaction. I think it was much needed for many reasons. However, all of the hostility and negative remarks, regardless of whether they may be justified, only gives energy to the outcome we are trying to overcome. Its a sensitive and often heated topic. But when you step back, and look at the bottom line..........no one really wants racism to exist. Period. Regardless of skin color, background, anything. Why can't we put our energy into discussions that focus on the things we have in common? None of us were given life to spew negativity, or to hold hostility towards one another. Unfortunately, I personally believe that's a result of conditioning. We all want to break the cycle. At least I hope so. That being said, I think there is something everyone can take from this reaction that is positive. And that is music. Forget about the lyrics. Forget about whether or not you may feel the man was right or wrong. Every one of us, regardless of race or any other difference between us, are here because of an unmatched love for music. If there is anything in life that has the ability to bring such a diverse group together to celebrate a commonality, and compassion, its music. And I think every one of us here on Patreon, owe Stevie a thank you. He didn't have to react to this song. Nor did he have to post it. But he did. And I think his reaction is something everyone should witness. His channel is helping to bring everyone together for something we all have a love for; Music. Hip-hop. BARS. For the sake of our connection to music, lets help Knight Nation start a movement. One of positivity. One of respect. And one of coming together, through music. šŸ’•šŸŽ¶

hypnotik dyzastr

@GhostlyRipper yes I did see you make that point after posting that. Fair point but how can the two be separated now? Because that’s what I want. They used the movement got filthy rich in the process and created the most dissension in our country racially since the 60’s . We need to heal and work on righting the racial injustices that have plagued our country in a different way. I just wish I knew how.

Benjamin Stanley

Please, show me where my hate was. I'd love for you to quote the hate I'm supposedly putting out there.

Greg Swaney

I’m just responding with the same hate your putting out there. Idc if I’m threatening people or not responding with an educated view. This shit is an actual problem in this country

Michael manchester

Ahhh yes but people like Michael Manchester out here saying he's going to beat people near to death in the streets and calling people racist and whitey are the voice of reason... 🤣🤣🤣

Greg Swaney

Mike this is what I mean bro. Take a second and calms down. I never said one word u just accused me of saying. This is why debate by text is pointless and unhealthy. Both parties in said debate are misunderstanding and assuming beliefs and intent of the other side. I give up šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Benjamin Stanley

I never said that? I think you're confused. I said I think you're responding with your hurt feelings and threatening to fight people on the streets because you're all worked up about someone hurting your feelings on the internet. Whitey? So I think we found the actual racist here guys....

Greg Swaney

Ok then why start insulting? How does that help? You know the answer, it doesn’t. Believe me I’ve been super guilty of letting my emotions get the best of me after from what started out as me calmly having thoughtful dialogue. That’s why I try to avoid Twitter honestly, just saying. we can disagree with others, we can still not stoop to the pointless name calling shit.

Benjamin Stanley

White people feeling the way they feel in their situation is kinda funny. Ofc by funny I mean frightening.

kikoolol

Lmao your kidding me right? Your gonna sit there and tell me that I’m wrong for telling white men not to use the N word fuck you punk feeeli gs or not you got no right so your little racist group looks like pussies go to hell whitey

Michael manchester

@Greg Swaney He's badmouthed the organization and the movement. Sounds like you agree with him

GhostlyRipper

Greg Best not to attempt any type of logic or reason when dealing with triggered sensitive souls like Mr. Manchester and the Ghost rippers of the world. Not worth the effort. 😬

Benjamin Stanley

Bruh I proved my point way up there do you read? Do I really need to go further as to why a white man shouldn’t be using the N word? Is this even a debate get your shit together people because you all look dumb as fuck

Michael manchester

When you respond with your feelings and not educated information, you run out of things to say quickly and have to resort to trying to attack people's looks and ideals. I get it. There are a lot of people out there like you who let their emotions drive them.

Greg Swaney

@Benjamin Stanley Didn't I just say I don't support BLM the group? I support the movement, I understand how problematic the actual organization is

GhostlyRipper

Oooo Micheal stopping to wack attempted disses instead of controlling his emotions and idk attempting to have a thought proving debate with others whose views differ. That’s going to do a lot of good Mikey. šŸ¤™šŸ» try and be better bud, instead of just being triggered and lashing out.

Benjamin Stanley

Hahahha calling me racist? When did I say ANYTHING that could be considered racist. Go hide behind your feelings a little more buddy. Some internet guy hurt your feelings and now you're all mad.

Greg Swaney

He should be specific too then šŸ˜‰ Everytime I've personally heard him speak about BLM he's distinguished between the movement and the group. It's quite possible he's said things to the contrary and I just never saw those clips.

Greg Swaney

You are aware of the self proclaimed marxists BLM is ran by hey? And they pushed their agenda by using race. Disgusting. Don’t get it twisted, Black Lives Matter wasn’t at its heart what all the millions marched for. You are aware of the atrocities committed by Marxist ideologies in our worlds history right? ā€œIn 1994, Rudolph Rummel's book Death by Government included about 110 million people, foreign and domestic, killed by communist democide from 1900 to 1987. And that’s just some of the evil commuted by these ideologies. Again don’t misunderstand me, I believe in equal rights, I believe African-American another minorities have how to struggle and fight much harder than Caucasians in our history. But you should wake up and not just follow blindly behind those monsters who are using race and people’s good well intentioned hearts to fuel their Marxist agenda. šŸ‘šŸ»

Benjamin Stanley

Lmao Greg your a joke just quit. looking like a 2001 version of creed stfu everything I said was on point take your racist ass somewhere else

Michael manchester

Because he wasn't specific either. He backmouthed BLM as a whole

GhostlyRipper

You just nullified anything constructive you may have said before this message by being ignorant. You just came on here and posted your opinion. And the someone else did and you don't like it so you're gonna beat his ass on the streets? 🤣 Come on bro. It's not that serious.

Greg Swaney

Pretty sure the 1st amendment in the US is a right of it's citizens. SHOULD he say it regardless of the reason? Nahhh probably not. But he has the right to.

Greg Swaney

You didn't say one way or the other. You say BLM. If you meant something specific you should say so.

Greg Swaney

@Greg Swaney You're referring to the organization not the movement. I don't care for the BLM group

GhostlyRipper

Only black people. Black people still own black slaves.

Greg Swaney

Not to mention the first slave owner in America was black. Every group of people has gone through slavery in THE PAST. But slavery still exists to this day. Mostly among black people owning black slaves. Get educated.

Greg Swaney

BLM? That non profit terrorist organization that used money gains to buy mansions? The BLM message is a good one. The organization stands for profit and anarchy with their "peaceful protests".

Greg Swaney

Eric’s sitting here telling me that Adam Calhoun has the right to say the N word lol it’s his right lmao you sir are a fucking clown 🤔

Michael manchester

Not sure why it won’t let me reply to this Eric punk but uh fuck you buddy you don’t have a fucking clue as to what your talking about. And if I saw you on the streets I’d beat your racist ass close to death. That’s my two cents I’m done fuck you very much.

Michael manchester

Yo Stevie Nicki drop with wayne and drake, u should check it out its called seeing green.

chris austin

No that doesn't make it all good. His background doesn't give him a pass to say whatever he wants

GhostlyRipper

Okay let me address the whole ā€œwhite people were slavesā€ and I’ll address it like this. DID BLACK PEOPLE TURN AROUND AND FORCE ANY RACES INTO SLAVERY? NO THEY DIDN’T ERIC SO STFU. WHITE PEOPLE WENT AHEAD AND DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY WENT THROUGH SO YALL CAN STFU TRYING TO STICK UP FOR RACISM. THIS ISNT THE FORUM FOR YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF

Michael manchester

@eric ohhhhhhh struck a nerve with the closet racist 🤣

Michael manchester

He says it in another song too, addressing the backlash he got for this song. He says "Oh he said *****? Yeah i did, ***** fuck you. Oh i can't say that, but you can say that?" Dude's a piece of shit lol

James Pansullo

Stevie i was truly moved to see you emotionally impacted. Thanks for letting us see u being vulnerable and helped educate me in the process . šŸ’ŖšŸ»

Benjamin Stanley

U ignorant dumb fuck. Guess u forgot abt all the white slaves off the boat that were treated far worse than blacks..Black slaves were sold at the highest..they lived in houses and were fed,,not put in cages and abused .go research some history,,cause all ur comments are showing that ur really the racist one..and fyi, white people can talk abt racism..sorry,im white and work in Harlem.I go thru plenty smh.. Stevie, please mute this guy

Eric Bagetis

It'd be one thing if he was conveying a more powerful message in this song but he isn't really saying much at all if you ask me. I feel like he just wanted to say that to see what kind of reaction he'd get. It's tough for me to elaborate but it just rubs me the wrong way and feels like it comes from a bad place. Especially considering this guy has to know his fanbase is almost 100% white. This is why Yelawolf doesn't fuck with him by the way. He can say it's about politics but i'm sure this is the reason he won't associate with him

James Pansullo

He has every right to use any word he wants..its america, freedom of speech, I don't approve it,as some other words I don't think should be said,,but its his RIGHT.. if not for these rights, rappers like Em wouldn't exist, and that would be very sad

Eric Bagetis

This is why I have a hard time with his music which a ton is nice BUT he is super far right which always makes me wonder but he says he grew up on the streets of Chicago so it’s all good šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Jeff W

Plus to add more who tf made him the poster boy for racism awareness? A white man speaking on racism is complete and utter bullshit, have white people gone through what black people have? No so who tf is he to speak on it and then also use the N word. Nah his confederate flag flying ass more than likely has family members who owned slaves and this bitch boy is using the N word lol yeah real artistic 🤣

Michael manchester

I don’t like this just from the division that it causes. He talks about that’s what they want, is to pen us against each. But by saying that in this song it’s doing exactly what he didn’t want. It’s a tough one.

Hunter Chase

That’s like saying well I robbed a bank to artistically show how it’s done, my intent wasn’t to cause any harm. BUT YOU STILL ROBBED A BANK. Intent means nothing when the action causes pain

Michael manchester

Keep in mind this is same Adam who is shouting All Lives Matter on his channel and bad mouthing BLM

GhostlyRipper

No don’t do that don’t try to justify this bullshit. He has no right to use that word no one cares if he’s trying to prove a point

Michael manchester

I get where your coming from but I feel like it's important to understand that adam is trying to create unity not hate. He's using it in an artistic way like the way django or lord of the flies does. I'm not saying you should agree with it but I do believe that intent also matters.

Tyson Glendinning

I’m all for coming together. I’m not white or black but wtf gives Adam the right to use that word though? Fuck him honestly. Stevie don’t let that shit get you down. African Americans are awesome and talented and smart and have given a lot to this country. The only down fall in this country is the race of people that have brought hate against the minorities and trust me I get it. I’ve gotten profiled so much it makes me want to lose my god damn mind sometimes but your right sometimes we just gotta check ourselves. One day things will change I hope.

Michael manchester

Finally! Been waiting forever for Stevie to do this one. šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„
