Sagas are still ongoing and we have a few more left before we’re done with the story. We’re only in act 2 right now. It’s created by Jorge Rivera-Herrans who voices Odysseus (also what the fandom calls this generations Lin Manuel-Miranda). He also cast artist from tiktok with open auditions for each role. It’s pretty amazing to see during audition time all the unique voices coming out of hiding to be apart of this creative masterpiece. Each Saga has a different feel and some have left me in tears. Can’t wait to see you fall in love with this lyrical genius music. Also the story of Homers The Odyssey is Greek Mythology so you’ll hear and see a lot of Greek figures like Athena and others. There isn’t one song that isn’t a banger in my opinion. All of them give you that feel of an emotion (otherwise never boring) can’t wait for your reactions because they only get better!🤍

2024-07-31 06:27:22 +0000 UTCThe Cyclops saga is the next part of the musical! But to answer your question without spoilers, Epic is. Based on the Odessy which is Greek mythology. It takes place mostly AFTER the Trojan war. So it's basically just the story of them returning home from the war.

2024-07-31 06:09:42 +0000 UTCOkay so basically Epic is based on Homer's book The Odyssey, it follows Odysseus and his crew making their way back to the kingdom of Ithaca after the war between the Trojans and the Greeks. Odysseus and his crew are the Greeks. Odysseus is king of Ithaca and he is the captain of his crew so that's the basic plot. You did indeed choose the correct order, the song the horse and the infant takes takes place during the last battle of the Trojan war which is the Trojan horse battle. The rest of the musical is just them trying to make it back home and it proves to be kind of hard.
