She wasn't meant to have just one gift, she held the key to the house in a sense and the house holds the key to their gifts. The Casita responded only to her requests and when the house started to crumble and Isabela and Camilo tried to get to the candle, the house wouldn't let them. It only allowed Mirabel to save it.

Watching over the house and keeping the magic alive, reminding everyone why the miracle exists in the first place. Abuela created the miracle, and once it was broken, Mirabel created the miracle again. I think that’s perfect. 💖💖
