I’m 18 so the struggles of puberty are still fairly recent and I understand so much what Riley was going through. They portrayed it so well. Truthfully I did cry in the cinema. Honestly, if they make another I couldn’t be mad. I hope it’s as good as this one if not better

2024-08-21 18:59:01 +0000 UTCI def got tears in my eyes at the end :') and anxiety is definitely the leading emotion in my brain, but seeing it drawn out like this was so beautiful to see. I'm much older than riley but completely relate to her in a lot of ways like being too hard on myself and not being understanding of my mistakes and always trying to bottle everything up and seeing her in the end show herself self love after everything that happened got to me SO BAD. I love the realization in joy as she's looking at the pile of mistakes she threw away, because even though Riley is a good person, she makes mistakes, and that's okay because she can learn from them to become a better person. This was my first time seeing this movie and it WAS SO GOOD!!! 10/10
