At least he talks about it instead of everyone walking round blind thinking everyone is perfect.. then when we hear of these things we are all shocked. It’s as simple as this no one is perfect and no relationship is perfect. I would rather be like him and be honest, instead of people thinking I’m some sort of saint. Ask yourselves this question would you prefer your favourite artists to be honest with you or be like (for talks sake) Chris brown letting his fans think he’s perfect until the Rihanna incident? For me I’ll take Eminem over anyone, he’s not perfect he’s human but his music is perfect in my opinion. And by the way I do not condone domestic violence whatsoever but I am a realist and understand that this happens wether I like it or not.

2021-09-24 19:00:29 +0000 UTCThe only thing that I can say about this song is it wasn't only Eminem Kim did a lot too and she kept going back not that I think that Eminem is right at all believe me I don't Stevie, but I wonder how true it really it I think he's exaggerating he has said that in the past or maybe he isn't and they both love this Chopsticks relationship that they have cuz until this day they still go back together and listen to what he saying you screwed other people I screwed other people and that's okay with both of them so you don't think they're both crazy at this point I do if this is even as true as he's spitting it because he's known to exaggerate in his song she's actually admitted it in an interview oh, what do you think I think he did probably hit her but if he did as bad as he is saying why would she stay with him call go back to him it's crazy and I seen that 2020 or 60 Minutes show up when she speaks but she looks to the left too many times for me to believe a lot of what she say plus she gave full custody of all three of her kids to him I don't know why something is just not sitting well something is not true they've been together for almost 25 years believe me you will leave and Kim is not afraid of him so why did they go back and forth why do they still??? It's known as 'the cycle of violence' because sadly many victims take this path. Em is not okay with this behaviour and acknowledges that in other songs, this was his reflection on their toxic relationship and his outlet for it. He broke the cycle he was raised in but it was not easy. Sobriety and ending this relationship is what helped create the man he is today. This was no different than the home life he was in or her for that matter. She was being sexually abused at home and that's why she was a runaway Debbie started to foster. Their childhoods were extremely dysfunctional😪. PS boxing wasn't until sobriety, others reported Em tolerated a lot of it from her in his younger years but by mid 20s and fame, he was snapping....

You already heard him apologise on bad husband. Presumably Kim would have apologised to him too, because they remained close friends and co-parents. They were both wild and on drugs back then (Kim was a cocaine addict in the early 2000s and Em's issues are well documented) and their whole thing was manipulation and fight-or-fuck....they both got off on it...though Kim has said that it wasn't that type of serious and he never actually hurt her ever. Sometimes Em exaggerates shit for the sake of storytelling or rhyme, so no one actually knows whether it was closer to how he tells it (where they beat the absolute living fuck out of each other) or how she tells it - cus he paints an awful picture whereas she literally laughed at the idea of it... All we know is, they were toxic, they hit each other, they broke up, stoppied, and both have had relationships with other people where it has never been an issue. I think if it was a recurring issue, or if there was no ownership and repentance, people wouldn't be as accepting that that's what happened or willing to move past it.

So idk if when he said he hit her, punch and stuff on this track is like the Kim music, he Said he "killed" her in the song and that stuff, but in real life she still alive same as with his mother, so maybe all this abuse is like catharsis for him where he imagine do all this things but never actually did it tho.

Recently I watched some documentary , I don't remember the name but his mother or uncle said there that he never laid hands on Kim, that after their fights he always would go outside and punch the car or something. Anyway it's good that Em finally realized this realtionship was too toxic and he should drop it as he dropped drugs.

There is never a good reason to hit your partner man or woman, but some times a relationship can just take a slow turn in to something toxic and it can be so hard to get out off. Mant years ago I was in that kind of relationship, and it's not like it started out that way, and he wasn't the type that tried to control me. The first year was amazing but then he was the first to cheat and I would be the first to hit him and we went through 2 years where we would be together on/off. He never hit but when I hit him during fights he would push me into the wall. It was crazy, insane and in no way healthy and fortunately we were able to realize that before anyone got seriously hurt. There is no excuse for how I treated him, and how he treated me but even till this I haven't loved another man like I loved him. Like I said people that haven't tried it can't and shouldn't understand.
