It's not really touched on in any of these songs, and the composer Jorge has said that it's only going to be a single visual easter egg (so no worries about future spoilers!) but the dog that was with Telemachus in the Legendary animatic is named Argos in the Odyssey. Argos was tasked by Odysseus before he left for war to protect Telemachus and Penelope. Argos lives an unnaturally long life for a dog (remember, Odysseus has been gone 20 years by this time), and protects the family numerous times. He also tasks all seafaring birds he can find to bring him information on Odysseus's adventures. Yes... this is a dog. And he's kind of a badass.

2024-09-03 06:07:36 +0000 UTCI believe Penelope stayed faithful and waited for so long because not only did she really love Ody but a video was released showing how far Ody and his crew were from Ithaca before Eurcylous opened the wind bag and the island was literally in sight. Penelope most likely saw him.
