There's usually always crossovers within each show. These shows also almost always share the same creative teams (such as a creator/writer for one show being an animator or storyboard artist for another like Rebecca Sugar in Adventure Time and Steven Universe). I'm not entirely sure if SU and this show are set in the same universe, but if I remember correctly Craig of the Creek does make references to Steven Universe in some episodes.

Btw does anyone know if they're connected in any way? In that first episode I saw a poster in ren's room from the last dimension that said koala princess, isn't that a su reference?
