And the only reason why I know this is because I was watching this show while it was airing, and I remember having to wait for S3 after the cliffhanger of Star leaving earth

2024-11-08 03:13:04 +0000 UTCI'm not 100% sure, but I think Toffee's voice actor was retiring or just leaving the role and they had to write him out of the story kinda quickly. Not sure if this is true, but that's what I've heard over and over. That might be why it felt like he was defeated kinda abruptly.
