Also, everyone needs to calm down, we are supporting a wonderful developer here- these games are entertaining and I sincerely doubt he uses this platform (his livelihood, for goodness sake) for anything other than to provide clever and challenging puzzle games. Stop looking for smoke where there's no fire. And before anyone tries to come at me, I am vaxxed, and will not engage with trolls.

However; If Robin's response is anti-Covid Vaccine then this does make things worrying. I love Robin's games and I'm sorry about that relative's health problems... but the Covid vaccine is perfectly safe and any negative side effects are very very rare.

It's my opinion that you should remove this puzzle altogether and replace it, like a manufacturer recalling and replacing a defective product. Please don't copy & paste in the same response like you did to others. Trust me, I've read it several times.

I realise that it was most likely a rare event as no one else I know had serious issues like this. I still do worry longterm though and I guess I'm just lucky to be living in a place that wasn't going through severe waves like the rest of the world thus far. Let's hope for some better times ahead :)

I understand that stage 3 arterial hypertension (AH) has been documented within a short time after vaccination (of any kind). In some cases, patients had AH before the vaccination but not had experienced hemorrhagic event. It is rare -- but that doesn't help the families of those who have suffered. I'm so sorry. And yes: I don't believe children under 12 should receive the Covid vax (where I live in NY, they cannot). Which is why I am definitely pro-vax. Children can easily be exposed if the adults around them are not vaccinated. In any event: I wouldn't blame Dr. F., who is a close associate of a former employee of mine. He's doing his job and doing it well, and has been, for decades. I didn't think the demonization was funny. But. It was a great stage otherwise.

Not a news page or statement of world events. Stop trying to make a GAME something it is not. THAT IS WHAT I AM SAYING!!!! Jeez. I support vaccination, I am vaccinated. I do still wear masks and support wearing masks. I feel for ANYONE suffering from COVID and I do wish we could once and for all get past this.......I just don't like seeing someone constantly bashed for trying to make a simple game to help entertain people dragged into a political fight over things. This is not what this is intended to be. It's just meant to be a puzzle to help challenge your skills on problem solving and hopefully entertain you while you play it. That’s great for you, if that indeed is the case. But most people have had that experience and s missing someone that covid took away from them. If you had a child, sibling or parent die from covid, you certainly wouldn’t be considering this a topic for a “fun game”. These games are played by people all around the world and you couldn’t possibly know what everyone’s experience is outside of your circle and your nation. Compassion and empathy go a much longer way in healing and acceptance than disregarding a person’s experience and pain as judgemental.

Up until recently I have been passive with people regarding their anti-vaccine beliefs, but I have seen too much damage caused by those who refuse to be vaccinated on those around them. To be honest, I didn't connect the puzzle to anything until I read the comments here AFTER I played the game. I think everyone is being overly critical in trying to read too much into a game. 2021-09-14 14:10:16 +0000 UTCIt’s scary times out there for sure. We’re all just trying to make the best choices for ourselves and our families based on what we believe and what we see around us. You have a close family member who was unfortunately one of the very small percentage who have an awful reaction from the vaccine so that is what you see. I completely understand. I have a compromised immune system from my genetic disorder and I also had a horrible reaction from the vaccine that is still affecting me, about 6 months later. Thankfully nothing to land me in a hospital but serious enough that my doctor said “no” to the second vaccine (for now anyways). But what that means to me is that I need others, who have healthy immune systems, to help provide me and those like me with herd immunity. People promoting otherwise means that our protection to go about life safely might not happen. My husband and I still decided to get our children vaccinated because we believe that is their best shot at avoiding covid or at least a really bad case of it. So I understand your point of view personally but it has to be a personal choice for everyone and no one should be made to feel like they did something horrible whatever they’ve chosen to do. I love your games, I’m not a Patron of anyone else and I agree that this should be a place where we leave our worries for 20-30 minutes (or more like almost an hour for me sometimes, lol) and escape the craziness out there. Leaving real-world problems behind sounds like the very best antidote for all the stress we experience on a daily basis. :)

I have kept quiet about this for a long time as I understand that everyone is trying to make the best decision for their family. In NZ they have started giving shots to 12 year olds and up already and it really worries me if they will mandate it especially for even younger children. At that stage I am really scared for Karel. I realise the virus is no joke and in NZ we've been lucky to have not been exposed to it. I did remove the word poison and reuploaded as I agree it was not appropriate. I will try to stay away from real world problems as I realise these games provide an escape for many people. I really hope there will be some positive news ahead.

I am sorry for your family was affected so badly with a side effect, and I understand your fear. So bad we cannot 100% rule out this happenning to any individual person. We will never know what would have happened to him if he got the disease. I wish him full recovery. On the other hand, the word "poison" was and still is too strong for me. I have close family member who passed away after weeks of suffering on ventillator, also friends, among them young and fit who never recovered from the illness. I also personally know someone who has long-term symptoms after more than a year of getting it. Unfortunately, we cannot wait a century or even a decade to get as many people resistant to the virus as possible. Health care was overloaded even in the most developed countries, and we all saw the news about how India and other countries were affected. In my opinion, the worst scenario is when people die simply because there are not enough doctors, nurses, medicine or ventillator for everybody to be treated equally. And as the world is today, it will always be the poorest and most vulnerable who will not get access to treatment. I do not want to convince you personally to take the vaccine. I am just asking you not to discourage other people getting it.

For the brother of your partner and all persons who have had problems after vaccination, I wish and hope that they will become without follow-up. I agree with you (as I said: ... maybe too young to be vaccinated), that little children should not getting it, until there is more data and maybe another and better vaccine. On the other side, do you thought how many people have been vaccinated (worldwide about 5,734,790,000 doses) and how many of them have had problems (about 0.002%). Each Person who had problems/death after vaccination is a catastrophe for his beloved-ones, but the risk is very small. I will continue to support you.

Unfortunately human medicine isn’t perfect and even simple drugs like aspirin might have serious side effects. I will double my plage, if this won’t help much at least it will cover loses from hotheaded people who already unsubscribed. Also, I am glad that you already have been vaccinated. No worries about this stage theme. As a child I was very scared of any medical treatment, especially syringe shots, so I understand what was the stage about and had found evil doctor naming very funny. And, yes, I understand your concern about vaccine side effects. I think we all tired of living in this COVID reality and thus such mischief jokes could do much of a trouble.

As someone pointed out earlier, there was no mention of vaccines in the game nor was it said to not get vaccinated. If you squint your eyes a certain way maybe the evil doctor could look like Fauci, but it looks more like a stereotypical evil doctor. Yes coming at this time it might be easily misinterpreted as someone saying the vaccine was poison. I for one like to give people the benefit of the doubt before jumping all over them. I also don't like villainizing someone for their points of view and beliefs. First you should understand where they are coming from and WHY they might hold those beliefs. As they say, until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes, you really don't know anything about them. So please stop judging people and assuming the worst. Only then can we hope as a nation and as a people finally achieve peace and acceptance.

2021-09-13 18:54:19 +0000 UTCI thought this had to be a joke about covid vaccines but seeing the kind of stuff you (Robin) retweet on your Twitter account, I now know this was your own negative opinion about the vaccines and what you feel are lies told to us by doctors, who, no offence intended, know a lot more about epidemiology that you do Robin. Calling a vaccine, that is proven to keep people out of the hospital and off ventilators, a “poison” is not something you should be asking your Patrons to be part of. If this was one of your free levels, do whatever you want and let people decide if they want to play the game and continue playing your FREE games but putting this subject matter in a level that requires us to pay is unbelievably bold. Everyone has their opinions and that’s what our social media is for. Please leave it there. Your patrons are not your choir to preach to, especially about something like this. But please keep in mind that stopping support isn’t a good way to change someone’s mind and usually it will take the opposite effect. I hope this stage was just a joke, but if it is Robin’s opinion on the vaccination, I wish him to have a good calm and friendly conversation with someone who can provide enough evidence that vaccine is the best way to save propel lives.

I too like these little puzzles but I am not going to continue to support this creator in the making of Anti-Vax content.

In times of COVID-19 with over 90% of the hospitalized persons and over 90% of deaths are unvaccinated - this end is NOT ACCEPTABLE !!! And Dr. (F)auci is not a robot (and Adolf Hitler is not alive, and the earth is not flat, and the landing on the moon is not a propaganda of NASA, ...). The only pardon for this end is, that the boy is very young, maybe too young to be vaccinated. Therefore I’m waiting for the next stage, in which I wish you will animate all people (teenies, middle age and elderly persons) to vaccinate for prevention of severe illness of COVID-19. Thank you.
