I was like that at first, but have since watched a few other breakdowns, especially knox hill, as he didn't miss any. Between him and stevie I absolutely love the song and can't stop listening to it. Go to knox Hills breakdown of this, you may change your mind

That would be amazing. Both of them creating a fictional world rapping with a steady cadence (none of that rapid fire shit) and basing the story around the fact that things will never be your way and telling the audience how they deal with it.

50 said it best yesterday - "👀No you can not front on this verse 🤦♂️ you just gotta listen, shut the f**k up and listen. 🤷🏽♂️"

It depends how ur suppose to judge a verse. I think Em is on Royce mindframe n tries to check boxes but he’s better at also making it sound real good. Which is why Royce has had issues with making his own anthems but amazing technical n writing skill he has. Then u have the millions who r hating Ems verse n love the hard simplicity of the Nas that just hits hard n makes you bop ur head. All Ems schemes would b called lyrical miracle by many or corny n say all he did was pay homage n rhyme. It is what it is. If u don’t like it, thats fine. He knows how to fukin rap. If your only down with the way he was pre recovery thats fine. Dude is still a masterclass wordsmith that deserves respect whether you like his style or not.

It didn't prevent Nas from dropping an album musically better and with better content than Em in almost 20 years ;).

This breakdown was dope 👌🏽 Would love to see Stevie breakdown the Death Row East record that's on this ep. Naz is story telling about '96 and 2Pac. The track is 🔥

Love ems fast flow but nothing sounds better than the last 4-8 bars on book of rhymes.. it sounds so clean. And it was only 2-3 bars of spitting

I am Eminem’s biggest fan, and I love Nas too, but I didn’t like the beat at all, didn’t enjoy the flows, the lyrics… it’s a song I will not play very ofen… I think a story telling song with some back to back rapping of both would’ve been much epic.

Yeah man, it's one thing to not like Em, that's respectable, but to say Nas is "far superior" to Em, is just gassing. I'm not even a Stan, I have my own favorites, but I'll call a spade a spade when I see it and Nas ain't touching Em on skill.

Agreed Jayz did have 2 verses tho, and for me it was his 2nd verse that made it close.

You have to be a hater, if your saying nas is far more superior your a hater, I'll take it if you say you don't fuck with em and resonate with nas more, but to say skill wise nas is far superior your chatting

You're right, Nas is far superior.

Skill wise between them I don't think it's close, em just got to much, and his brain is different, but listening to the album nas still put out a fire album now waiting for donda

I'm not even gonna lie. I actually think it was closer between Jay-Z and Em, than this was between Nas and Em.

Never cease to amaze on features. Song is an hommage to Hip Hop. Beat is fire. Kings Disease II is a ride. Nas still got it. Street poet. Production overall is fire
