Listening back to the songs of Matilda, I think Matilda was coming up with and thinking Ms. Honey's story is hers, is because in the song Quiet, she talks about how she has all these sounds in her head and these stories coming to her and trying to force their way out. Seems like her powers may be picking up on the story somehow after spending time with Ms. Honey and Trenchbull and how similar it is to her own life

Especially Renee rapp. The only song from it I don’t enjoy is stupid with love because… yeah lol. Part of that is bc I really like Erika henningsen she was in hazbin hotel and the new cady absolutely decimated her song xD

2025-02-05 15:36:25 +0000 UTCI think the only issue with the mean girls musical movie is that they took the enthusiastic musical sound and made it more pop… like mainstream audiences can’t handle theatrics or something?? they tried to hide the fact that it was a musical movie in advertising as well which sucked

2025-02-04 18:19:28 +0000 UTCI’m a huge fan of the Danny DeVito adaptation, but this is still an excellent film. I particularly appreciate how they incorporated more of the original story into the plot.

Both movies get a lot of shit for being musical remakes but I think they’re both so good. This one just makes me feel so nostalgic. The music is so sweet as well
