2021-10-18 18:13:56 +0000 UTCI think it's just that his sound is so niche that he's pretty polarized and you either love him or hate him. People that hate his sound will have a hard time getting past that to give him any credit for his actual rap skill and talent as an artist. Or they will justify not calling him a true rapper because he does other things too (3K, Post Malone, and Drake get this a lot as well). Then there is the unfortunate few instances where people want to pin him as racist even though he has mixed children and is married to Fefe Dobson. One of those incidents caused a feud between him and Royce and pushed him to leave Shady Records, and he just sort of does his own thing on his own time. I think all of that combined is why he not often discussed.

Between his ability to switch genres with ease, and rap with that unmistakable sound, swag, flow, bars, delivery, word play, and staying true to his roots with his language and energyβ¦β¦.nobodyβs ever fucked with yela. Bet Eminem would be nervous as hell if it came down to a battle between those 2 aliens
