2021-10-25 09:16:16 +0000 UTCMay be showing my age, but Anthrax and Public Enemy did this type of mash up with the song “Bring the Noise” way back in 1991. Great song. Also, Body Count, fronted by Ice T, had the metal/rap mojo in 1992 or so. For another interesting take on this theme, Gangstagrass has some awesome stuff with a variety of rappers rapping over bluegrass. Pretty wild.

They gatherd some of the finest in hip hop for features such as black thought Pharoah Monch and Chali Tuna. Producers like kit master Kurt alchemist and evidence. Shinoda is a force to be reckoned with. He has his own hip hop group styles of beyond and Linkin park was even recruited to do a feat on the world famous executioners album. You get some really interesting mixes you would've never thought could mesh. I'll have to go find the ones I have kept around. BTW that's Mike Shinoda rapping and that was his role in the band besides playing the keys for the longest. He even did his own hip-hop album with a group of other guys and I'm sure you heard the track "Remember the Name" it was played on ESPN for basketball and bunches of other stuff.

Mike Shinoda is one of the most talented people out there and doesn't get enough props for putting this together. Check out Mike Shinoda's rap project - "FORT MINOR".
