And probably my favorite Em track of all time. A long time listener of Howardβs, not only did I hear this interview live when it happened, I remember being extremely disappointed and a bit pissed at Howard here. Apparently he was disappointed in himself too, as he put a reflective mention about this interview in his most recent book. Iβm paraphrasing, but he wrote something like how much he regretted how heβd behaved, what an I idiot he was, and how Eminem has never come back on his show. And how much he wishes he could do it over. Thatβs the thing about regret: by the time it happens, itβs usually already too late. π€·πΌββοΈ

I read Howard Stern regretted this interview because Em never came back.

He has this love/hate relationship with the perception people have of him. Anderson Cooper straight up told him his lyric sheets make him look crazy after he publicly displayed them for 1st time... Em simply said "then I guess I be crazy" with a eye roll!
