I think its about society. Under the guise of being about a relationship. Hmmm, maybe both. The relationship with society. Theres a lot said by the title alone, and that just scrapes the surface of what is reality.

Our love is deteriorating. We're at war. I see you through the looking glass on how we once were. Song wise, it's about a failing relationship. Video wise, it's about a failing society and government.
