They were so talented, the Grunge era ended with a lot of overdoses and suicides unfortunately😥 So much pain and suffering with those artists and drugs was the escape. Tortured artists they say, think Pearl Jam is the last fully enatic band standing from the Grunge era.

He died of a heroin overdose not too long after the MTV Unplugged was recorded. In my opinion, one of the best voices in music EVER!

Layne was a huge inspiration to many artists and he was a powerhouse of a musician and you could feel the words. His voice meshed so we'll with the guitarist. Shame he passed.
