RECORDING A VIDEO ON EM'S STORY TELLING ABILITY

SHOWCASING WHY HE'S ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST AT IT AND WHY HE'S DIFFERENT

I got some songs planned to showcase but I wanna hear yalls suggestions

Comments

By the way my fave as always I shared on Twitter & tagged you & the GOAT 🖤 everyone else needs to too so this gets out there & reaches Em 💯💯

MimiLoveee♡

Bad Guy from MMLP2 for me is one of the biggest displays of his story telling ability - the parallels with Stan and introspection in that song are on another level.

Tim

Cleaning out my closet, Marshall Mathers, Brain Damage

Tobias

Also Criminal (with an inbuilt skit and all), My Fault, Sing For the Moment, Guilty Consciouns, when I'm Gone

Tobias

Darkness, Stan, Murder Murder, lose yourself

Tobias

Darkness. Mockingbird. When I’m Gone. Believe. Bad Guy. No Apologies. Yellow Brick Road. The River. 8 Mile. Rabbit Run. Difficult. Beautiful. The Apple. All of Relapse lmao

Kyle Demers

It could be anything but I personally have listened to, Rap God, Survival, King's Never Die, Phenomenal and Believe the most recently.

Michael Bruce

I’m not about to go through all of these comments but I know this man Stevie better not forget about Rock Bottom inspiring Scriptwork series The Bottom after he was in it 😂

TW1G N1NJ4

Not us!! Actually a few people have it on here, but let’s be honest, we probably can name 40 songs if we sat down and tried. He’s a storyteller probably better than anyone.

Chris Sturgill

Yup people forgetting about Believe

bz321

• Believe also not on here enough. Believe is so underrated storytelling, motivational, cadence, doubles, triples, flow, scheme. Can’t wait for you to rerun revival. I’m giving them pounds, I’m upscale now. Guess that means I’m way in the sky. I still remember the days of minimum wage for general labor. Welfare recipients since a minor, look how government assistance has made ya. Adversity if at first you don’t succeed put your temper to more use cause bein broke is a poor excuse that should give you more fuel show EM why you’re you so close God it like I almost got it but close only counts in bombs and horse shoes so I unabomb shit-tick-tick-tick No Remorse. Pew. Screw it I’m lit and that attitude I blew up on quick that’s why they call me firecracker I grew up wic-Wick-Wick-Wick-with a short fuse. I got some important news to report to anyone who thought I was done nah bitch not quite spotlights back on Got my faith Where’s yours? Do You still believe? In me? Didn’t I give everything I had to give to make you see? I’ll never forget if you turn your back on me now and walk out. I’ll never let you live it down. I’ll never quit. Do you still believe in me? If time was on my side I’d still have none to waste.

Chris Sturgill

Castle, Arose, Leaving Heaven, Evil Twin, Believe, Kim, and Darkness off the top of my head. He has so many though

Danny Pratt

Darkness needs its own video for how creative it is. But it’s not a song to listen often

matt thompson

97' Bonnie and Clyde + Kim, Brain Damage, Deja Vu, Stay wide awake, Music Box,

cathy

As the world turns Stan Bad guy Mockingbird Deja vu When I’m gone

Finicher

When in gone, sing from the moment, stan, darkness, castle, arose. But what I want to see soon is Eminem motivational tracks 😅💪🔥 like phenomenal and guts over fear

Daniel Bjørnholm

Noone tell a story or paint a verbal visual like Em 👁🎵 noone💯

MimiLoveee♡

8 mile road Murder murder 97 bonnie and Clyde

Dylan M

Hailie's song? xD To me that song has really cool story telling, also Bonnie and Clyde

Dezy

Darkness is one of his most creative storytelling songs

Tom Zoeter

Hip hop witch, he tells a great story 😆

Jack Willis

Murder murder always an old classic!

Steve

Yeah! Definitely. It’s dumb as hell, but it’s my favorite song on the sslp. I think it’s a good one to highlight because while he can tell serious stories, I’ve never heard anyone tell a story more outrageous than this. And the ‘Outsidaz baby and we suin’ the courts, cause we’re dope as fuck and only get a 2 in the Source’ refrain is sick and brings an element of dead seriousness.

Brandon Edward Gould

-Sing for the moment -Darkness -Never love again -Castle/Arose -Stan -MockingBird -Bad Guy -Headlights -Bad Husband -River

Luke

I think Murder Murder from the Slim Shady (EP) is essential to showcase that he’s been doing it the whole time. Since way back when.

Brandon Edward Gould

A song that I would add that is missed, is what if I was gay with Joyner Lucas.

Daz

Legacy and Castle/Arose

Aj

braindamage, rock bottom, if i had

Mohammad keita

Yea that’s what I’m saying, for storytelling. But not much replay I haven’t really listened to it since it dropped

David

The song is dope as fuck but I don’t think it has much replay value imo but creative as fuck

Mike

Bad Guy, Stan, Darkness, Castle/Arose and My Darling are essential Em storytelling joints

GhostlyRipper

1. Stan 2. Castle/Arose 3. My Darling 4. Without Me 5. Mockingbird 6. Bad Guy 7. Stay Wide Awake 8. Deja Vu 9. Darkness (cant believe I forgot this)

Michael Viggiano

Castle n arose with fucking creativity of rewinding the track back, I wish Stevie never reacted to that so he would understand it on first listen how dope that was cuz it didn’t hit that hard n he didn’t quite get it the first time

Mike

As the world turns

Rama Djuhana

Yellow brick road.

Dalemore

So many, here are some dope ones: Stan/Bad guy 8 Mile Cleaning out my closet Mockingbird When I'm gone Darkness Deja Vu Going through changes Almost famous My darling Castle/Arose Headlights

Aydin Shahtakhtinskiy

Oh, I’m looking forward to this! 🤗 Some have already been said, but I concur: A) songs about family —Castle/Arose; Kim/ Bad Husband; Cleaning out my Closet/ Headlights; Hailie’s Song/ Mockingbird/ When I’m gone. B) songs about social/political topics —Darkness/ Untouchable/ Mosh/ White America C) songs about drug use/ fame/ self —Deja Vu/ Say Goodbye to Hollywood/ Careful What You Wish For/ Drug Ballad. D) songs about growing up/being bullied/ owning up —Legacy/ Brain Damage/ Rock Bottom/ Yellow Brick Road/ Like Toy Soldiers E) songs about fictional stories — Stan/ Bad Guy; 3am/ Stay Wide Awake; ‘97 Bonnie/ Clyde; Music Box. F) songs about pain/ feeling alone/ fighting back — Beautiful/ Talking 2 Myself/ Going Through Changes/ Stronger than I was. There is a LOT of songs in his arsenal to cover MANY topics haha Thanks, Stevie! I wonder which ones you’ll choose 😊

Maria

Aside from the obvious like medicine man, till i collapse, lose yourself These are good Legacy The ringer Stan Walk on water No apologies 8 mile rd You're never over These songs are bops which dont really get that from Em Lock it up No regrets Killer Venom These songs are emotional ones that you have to respect his love for his daughter Mockingbird When I'm gone Haile's song

Greg Rios

River: common theme in today's dating world. Online hook ups/married people and their triangulation. Went #1 around the world and #2 in the US (if I remember right).

Toni-Ann

When it comes to fictitious stories, "Stan" is an obvious choice, but also 8 Mile Road (the 2nd verse where he talks about B Rabbit's sister is particularly good), Darkness and Kim... We could also talk about songs where he talks about his life, but that might be a slightly different lane (Deja Vu, Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, Cleaning Out My Closet, Headlights, Castle/Arose etc...)

Dall24

Darkness: 2 stories in one

Toni-Ann

De ja vu,Stan ,difficult,

leo martinez

I think if you do Stan then do Bad Guy. Like Castle/Arose. Cleaning Out My Closet/Headlights. Mocking Bird. When I'm Gone.

Charles D Adams

Spacebound is a good one about toxic relationships, Kim even though it's a messed up song, rock bottom, run rabbit run

Ryan Obrecht

Good suggestions above, but Stan and Darkness must be in your showcase for old and new Em.

M. E. Amine Benaichouche

Dejavu, Mockingbird (2nd verse), 8 Mile Road

MMD

Stan, Darkness, Castle and Arose, Groundhog day
