2022-03-08 23:10:11 +0000 UTC...and yes Rockers need to know how to write too...lol. A "band" usually has at least one writer. All Rockers had/have lyrics that impress/connect with people. Some lead singers do all the writing like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Neil Young, to name a few of the top Singer/Songwriters. Some bands, ie The Beatles, had many writers within. The most famous 'ballads' come from this genre with at least one on every album.
