The song is definitely about being in a dark place. Being in a dark place and screaming out for help. Basically, the first step of the 12 steps, admitting there is a problem. Ollie is telling all his friends and family he's broken and needs help and begging them to wait for him while he takes steps to address his brokenness and addiction.
