School shootings seem to be an American problem but murder is not and the US isn't even in the top 10. So clearly there is more going on then just access to firearms. You can look up the numbers yourself through many of the unbiased websites.

But, our constitution allows us to own guns, MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of gun owners would never even consider perpetrating such hate. Coming from a European country, it's hard to try and wrap my head around the fact that people like this are able to legally get a hold of the kind of weapons that let's them maximise the death and destruction that takes place during an act like this. I know that fundamentally it's not about that, but it only makes situations like these a whole lot worse. My prayers goes out for all the victims 🙏❤️

Then the media/ news/ social media will turn it political. And since people tend to react on emotion( hence this post ) and also blindly follow their emotion without question - they can divide and make people choose sides, etc. There’s always an agenda behind these incidents. But yes, the world is fucked.
