New Em is like the Terminator when it comes to lyricism and flow, just spraying bullets in every direction and murdering everything in his path. But Slim Shady era Em had so much flavor if that makes sense. The shit he was saying wasn't as complex on a technical level, but it was more imaginative and outlandish. You could really envision the stories he was telling in your head like you were trippin out watching some violent fucked up Saturday morning cartoon. It's the shit he caught the world's attention with for a reason.

You recently mentioned how you haven’t listened to much Masta Ace yet. His album Disposable Arts is an early 2000s underground classic. It’s a concept album about the day a young man gets released from prison. (His follow up A Long Hot Summer is a fantastic follow up album) Anyways on Disposable Arts he has a diss song called Acknowledge where he disses High and Mighty (and a few others). You may have already heard that song but just connecting some dots for you since you just heard high and mighty in this reaction and Masta ace dissed them on acknowledge. Masta ace goes back to the late 80 when he was on the Symphony track with big daddy Kane kool g rap and shit. His biggest song on the charts is probably Born to Roll. Anyways just recommending some shit to check out from him when you have some free time.

Never heard this before but that middle scheme in the 2nd verse “too many words in a verse” the way he rode that sound is CRAZY
