When Ja’s career was in a slump after 50 came out, they did the song New York and it was a hit so 50 saw it as them helping his enemy out. He wanted to make it clear that anyone associated with Ja will be a target. That’s why it’s nothing too personal just jabs- “This is chess not checkers, these are warning shots…After your next move I’ll give you what I got” - just a warning depending on how you respond
